Is there a demo for download on pc for this game? I would like to try a little bit before purchasing this. Otherwise I will likely wait until the price drops dramatically so that if I don't like it I won't be out that much money.

So I'm going to start off by saying that yes these are laptop gpu's that I'm asking about. I am getting a new laptop for school so it needs to be mobile and I would like to game on it in my downtime.
I am wondering which is better, 2gb AMD 7970m or 2gb nVidia 680m.
I plan to build a desktop PC for gaming eventually but with school and the need for portability, that just isn't going to work for my right now.
I play skyrim the most but I do like ghost recon also and I would like to run these games on ultra settings if possible on a laptop. I know the line between desktop and laptop for gaming is kind of vast due to the options desktops offer LOL.
They are laptops because I need something more mobile since I will also be using this for school, I'm looking at a couple between an MSI and Alienware which I'm very unsure of due to the price compared to MSI. Most of the MSI laptops I've looked at do allow for cpu and gpu upgrades and I have upgraded a couple laptops (more experience with desktops). also does having dual cards really make a difference cause I found some with and nvidia 675m and same cpu and ram as posted and I'm wondering if that's just as good, better, or worse. I would honestly much rather do a desktop for gaming but I can't afford a desktop and laptop and I need mobility. Any other suggestions for gaming laptops would be welcome also please, Thank you.
So I'm good with computers and hardware in general and I can make upgrades as needed. For this reason I believe it would be cheaper in the long wrong to switch to pc gaming instead of continuing with my console gaming, but I have some questions.
Right now these are the components I'm looking to to get for pc gaming and I want to know if this would be sufficient enough to run most games (mostly skyrim) in ultra or high settings.
i7 core 3.4GHz with turbo boost
8Gb RAM 1600MHz
Dual 2GB GDDR5 AMD Radeon HD 7970m
I know the graphics cards is more than enough and CPU should be good but I wasn't sure if I sure go with 8GB RAM or 12GB RAM, will that amount even show enough of a difference?
will a 1 month subscription card from best buy work on an original xbox? i more or less just want to get live on an original xbox so that i can get the dlc for all my games before it's gone in april. does anybody know a cheap way to get live on original xbox?
i'm actually just wondering a couple of things. first is can i do account recovery on my xbox 360 live account onto my original xbox as long as i have a gold account and a credit card on. second is if i can will i lose my gamescore? not that the second one is really that important to me but my brother in law and i have a lot of fun just trying to beat eachothers scores. any help would be appreciated, i couldn't seem to find the answer googing it, it just gives me directions how to recover my account which i already know.
