@nbean16: It constitutes what you may call circumstantial evidence, but not definitive proof of anything. People make mistakes. I certainly would have made this same mistake if I hadn't paid attention to the controversy in the first place.

To be fair to the reviewer you do get a feeling of pseudo-feedback on the third, non-player-interactive tick so they may have felt like they were either nailing it or missing it slightly each time. Obviously they missed or misinterpreted the shift mechanic explanation in that case, but it isn’t proof they “faked” or otherwise did not even do the review.
