THE Final Destination

Saw this grusome film yesterday. God talk about graphic and the ending doesnt make you feel any better. Fantastically linked with the 3-D element as things fly at your face including screwdrivers and plently of blood. In some ways its comical though because every minute something can happen and your always like oh**** .For example, a woman gets her hair cut on a dodgey chair and while theirs a massive build up you do feel like an idiot when it breaks yet nothing happens. However, the worst come as a shock like when a girls heads smashed off by a wheel. Although, the one that sticks in my mind is when there is a guy you think is 'simply' drowning before all his guts are sucked out through the drainage out onto the side of a swimming pool. Apart from that its really good, so yeah see it :)
Small Arms

If anyones looking for a good arcade game to pass the time with its 'Small Arms'. Its a really fun game, especially to those who like super smash bros as it works with the same gameplay. The movement is really fluid and everyone has a different prefered character. I loved it and its a great 4 player game. Infact, its the only game I have ever got full gamerpoints on (210 I think). So definitly a good buy.
Batman: Arkham Asylum - hands on

Just bought a game I never thought I would play. Batman. Its a very addictive game to play.It requires a lot of thought more so than any other game ive played. The gameplay is extremely fluid as batman's movements from one action to the other. I love the slow-mo combatscenes in the fightsespecially thesounds effects of 'smack!'as you kick theguy in the face along with the rumble in your controller. The idea of an upgrade system forces you to choose wisely and play the game in your own unique way. The dialogue's fantastic although the characters do seem a little robotic in the cut-scenes, aswell as their mouth movements being out of sink. Although much of that is overun by The Joker's wonderful disturbed words which actually make you laugh to the extent where you actually enjoy watching his character play around with you like a puppet. So far my favourite part of the game is discovering where to go as you track the clues: very satisfactory. Looking forward to playing more (... already played a third of the game though).
