@unreal101 @Zevvion @hellgast0 Well some of the greatest movies ever made are like that, including one of my favourites, "The Usual Suspects". And that's the thing about such pieces of art, they're not meant to be experienced once and then forgotten, the artist wants you to keep coming back to them and discovering new details every time. Now I'm not saying everybody likes it, but a lot of ppl do, and in the end that's art in its purest sense.

Personally don't care that much about the score, since 9/10 is an incredible game any way you look at it, and we haven't played the game yet. But the reasoning given for the deducted point is completely flawed. For instance, "Yes, these are exaggerations of misogynistic undercurrents in our own society, but not satirical ones. With nothing in the narrative to underscore how insane and wrong this is, all the game does is reinforce and celebrate sexism." Hello, the game's equivalent of Facebook is called Life Invader; the entire game is one big satirical piece on the excesses of Western lifestyle.

Alan Wake was pretty good, and although it was a bit on the action side, there were quite a few thrills there.
