I have said it before and ill say it again. Any recent (~3yrs) computer should have at least a core 2 2.1ghz and then you can plug in a graphics card like theirs (8800GT) or simillar which goes for ~$30-$50 nowadays and play any game fine on high. "The reccomended system--a Core 2 2.1GHz with a GeForce 8800 GT--ran the game without a hitch at maximum quality settings and at fairly high resolutions."

@gsnmaster having a freezer as a PC isn't going to do anything. now if you overclocked while it being cool it would help performance. CPU at -100C or cpu at 80C will give you the exact same performance (both non overclocked).

So the lesson is: Go buy a $100 dollar video card and play it at 1920x1200. your "family pc" (if bought in the last 1-2years) should have a decent core 2 dou and run it fine.

If its a sport to people who crack games it seems that w/o DRM its no real use to compete with other people who crack games, (would still be pirated of course, but what isnt?) and would benefit the consumer. People who go to buy a video game and see a 1star rating on a retailer are probably not going to buy that game..

"If implemented correctly, DRM can convince PC players to buy the original game rather than an illegitimate copy." Well, out of all the options, (requiring internet activation 1st time or multiple times, limited installs, hardware screw-ups, slowdowns, etc) I don't see how it will convince anyone to buy the original one rather then a cracked one without DRM. Not 1 single benefit for the customer, now that's just lying to our faces.. come on. From all these choices there isn't a way to implement it correctly to make the buyers happy.
