@kalarro it is not about time, it is about parity, its a marketing decision. The best that they can make for consoles is terrible menus(controller), simple action combat(controller) and mediocre graphics(cheap parts in consoles).

If they then release the same game with great and easy to use ui(things like menus), challenging deep combat and 4k uhd graphics, why would anyone buy the console version? The console market is closed, illegal copies are rare and it is easier to milk your costumers there. So from a business perspective the console is the way to go.

It does kill gaming though, the quality has gone down since the rise of the consoles. But hey! there's always the pub if you get tired of the shallow crap they release lately :)

And yet you keep wondering why developers and publishers couldn't give a crap if a game is ready or not. Sales a bit lower than normal? Throw in something extra with the word free on it and people fall over each other to buy the still heavily bugged game 3 weeks later. Profits are sky high again so the business plan for many more years to come is; release half done games, fix em up a little till the storm blows over and abandon them. Next!

@northArrow @deg22 @KaoGen @fernanvic hahaha yes he did, did not!, did too!

If you have a point to make then make it, don't turn a forum into an episode of the baby looney tunes.

@Argle @LordCrash88 there we go again. If the first 20 hours of a game are bad then I'm not going to play the other 60. Both the statistical and probability calculation whether the game will get better give a conclusive NO as answer.

@KaoGen @fernanvic you know that you, at best, invalided your own words here?

@Darkeus @deg22 @Kryptonbornson it makes the fights take longer but the complexity, being not lining up your team members, is no more complex than 1972's pong is I'm afraid.

@Kryptonbornson @deg22 I don't know man, I think we just lost the last spot, pun intended, where we could get real reviews. I can't see anything else in this then it being a infomercial.

I really expected a 7 or so from Kevin with a RED BLINKING WARNING for people who enjoy rpgs that bioware rpgs have been consolized and therefore lost most of their depth. I mean you can have a warrior, pretty much immune to anything, stand in front of the mobs while "your party" auto kills everything. It's watching a bad movie instead of playing a game with depth.

Kevin seriously, we're the same age and have been playing the same rpgs over the years. I could always blindly buy the titles that you scored higher than a seven. Until today that is. This game is a retooled console mmo. It's a slap in the face of anyone who liked the rpgs of the past. Titles like planescape torment, neverwinter nights, baldurs gate and even the first dragon age.

This is a console click and win game, there is no strategy needed whatsoever. The story telling has diminished to drivel that is a copy of the elders scroll's oblivions story, done by a 12 year old. Half of the conversations don't make any sense!

You can review this as a console title for people who like clickfest action titles and that is great but this review makes it look like gamespot lost even more than just most of its staff during the last "restructuring round".
