Are you someone who plays a game then after one completion you sell it or you put it in your games box and let it dust? It might be an old and obvious practice on gaming now but re-playing old video games makes you understand the existence of fanboys, the magnitude of work and effort put into making the game, the aesthetic qualities of a virtual world, and of course saves you a ton of cash.

This came to mind because of my revisiting of Red Dead Redemption. All console gamers and some PC gamers as well know the western future classic that is Red Dead Redemption. A chance to live the life of Old America. The entirety of Asia had the Age of Emperors, Europe had the Renaissance, England had the Victorian Age (I'm still a bit iffy including UK in Europe. They do too, the English) and America had the time of outlaws and cowboys. Step into the boots of John Marston, a former outlaw forced to relive his forgotten past to ensure the safety of his family.

Since we all know what the story is, I won't bother with the obvious. Playing RDD again made me realize what a whale of a game this is. A chance to live a life without the technology we all cherish now-a-days, it should not be passed up. Chasing outlaws, doing favors for strangers, riding a black horse, shooting a revolver out of a man's hand. It all is just a part of an experience of a gaming lifetime. Since Rockstar poured in their open-world adventure trademark in this, it makes it more compelling to play. Not just to play but to live another life in an another time.

I'm not much of a multiplayer kind of guy. I rarely get in the mood to play with people other than my friends. Or strangers. But to encounter other gamers inside the game playing their own version of an old western life is priceless. Seeing them as law enforcers or outlaws who kill for money, it's worth the effort and your old money. Aiming for trophies/achievements make it more alluring to play, showing your friends you can play a little bit better than them (excluding the braggadocio that your friends won't appreciate).

So, put on a mask if your asthamatic, pull out that box and start playing your old favorites again, and again, and again.

I just watched the GS Daily Demo and I must say I'm quite impressed but the resemblance of the game to other Rockstar games is massive. Everyone saw it. You have to be blind as **** to not see the similarities. Don't get me wrong, GTA series will never get old for me, from GTA to GTA: EFLC. Well, you all know what the games are, no use yakking about it. First doubt, it will be just like GTA, I mean the gameplay will be just like GTA. Second, DLCs. I know, I know, the DLC thing is not really a problem but let's just say that I'm a little bit old-fashioned. I want my games "concrete." For God's sake, I've downloaded one movie my entire life. And I'm just 19. And of course, legally. Go authentic. I really want to write more but I really want to sleep. No matter what I say, I still think it's worth my money. I guess I just really had to say these things out loud.

It's really hard. For me, at least. To other gamers, this might be just a normal RPG game. Well, it's hard as **** 1st GameSpot blog entry too so... So no big introduction for me. I really hope I can post some reviews of the games I bought and will buy here. I hope this is not too bad for a rookie blogger like me. Have a nice day. :)
