The day I've been DREADING (LMAO!)

I've been on the fence for a long time now about whether or not to get dreadlocks and I finally caved in and today I had them done. It took about 8 hours (which isn't too bad for "home-made dreads") and some of the time it was pretty damn painful. Either way they look pretty kick-arse and I'm quite happy with them but they've still got a long way to go (they take around a year to fully lock up).

To anyone who might actually read this, so basically no-one, I'll post some pics soon. But you don't really want to see my ugly mug, really.:|

Wii would like to play... Wiiware.

First blog since April 2007. Wow. Wiiware was just released here in Europe and after getting home from college I hastily bought myself 3,000 whopping points to bag me some LostWinds and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My life as a King. I'm just about to give Crystal Chronicles a try but I thought I'd first give a quick opinion on LostWinds here after playing it for 2 hours.

It's quite a slow paced game, which for some people can be frustrating. It's definetly the kind of game you can dip in and out of easily until completion. It's definetly a very unique game and I can't really compare it to anything else. It has probably the most creative uses of the wii remote I've seen in just about any game on the System in my opinion, it just really wouldn't be the same game without the motion control. I really enjoyed learning new skills and experimenting with them and such is quite a treat. The only complaint I can think of is some of the platforming parts can be a bit of a bugger but it's really nothing to write home about.

All in all, I'd highly recommend LostWinds if the slow pacing doesn't bother you. It's certainly a good sign of things to come for Wiiware. Alright, I'm off to try Crystal Chronicles.

LittleBigUnion!

I've started up another union with help from Kipi (Thanks.). It's based around the game "LittleBigPlanet" which was shown off at this years GDC. If like me, you were highly impressed, then you're welcome to join. ^_^

Oh, and I assure you that Nintendo Central will not suffer in the slightest because of this.

Edit: Yeah, it suffered. ^ o ^

Back to Gamespot. No, really. I am this time.

I genuinly am back this time. And I really, really am sorting Ninty Central out. Not that you should trust me as it's likely you've realised by now just how untrustworthy I am.

Hi to anyone who still might be around. Ninty Central officers, if you're still about and still interested you can of course keep your officer titles.

Viva la Nintendo!

Back to Gamespot.

I'm coming back to gamespot after a 3 month absence.

Been having a lot of fun on FFXI, check it out if you have the funds.

I've also started at college now. It's hard work, but it can also be good fun as well.

Anyway, hello to anyone who might read this. So basically, no one.

17 today

Well. I'm 17 today.

Time does fly by. Now I can get my drivers license. Scary thought.

I have birthday money, but not sure what games to buy, or whether to just save up for the wii so I can get it on launch day.

I'll think I'll get MGS3: Subsitence, in hope that there is more to this director's cut version than just online play. As my PS2 doesn't go online yet.

The Nintendo Challenge League

THE LEAGUE HAS ENDED. WII EDITION COMING IN THE NEAR FUTURE!

The Nintendo Central Challenge league has finally launched! But I'm still looking for a lot more members to take part, so I'm advertising it right here. :)

The League is basically a number of challenges across the Gamecube and the DS which range in difficulty and length. These could be anything from time trials on Mario kart to completing Resi 4 with a 90% hit ratio. By completing challenges you can earn points, marks and badges. I'll explain all 3 below...

Points

The more points you have, the higher up on the leaderboard you will be. Also, after a certain amount of points have been earned you can enter the next league (Bronze league) and new challenges will be available.

Badges

These show your acheivments in the league. For example, if you were to complete 5 DS challenges you could earn a badge. Basically, these were inspired by the Gamespot profile badges.

Marks

With some challenges, you get marks as a reward. For example, for completing a Mario Kart DS challenge you would get a "Kart Mark". With a certain number of these, you can earn a new badge. Some challenges require marks too.

If all of this has piqued your interest, then check out the links below.

Thanks for reading, and I hope to see a lot of you sign up. :D

Games I'm looking out for.

I'm just making this list for the hell of it, there is probably no real reason to comment but feel free if you want to. =S

The one's I have since bought are in red. =P

Chibi robo

Viewtiful Joe 1 and/or 2

Welcome back (To myself)

Ah, it's good to be back. It's like putting on an old pair of comfortable slippers as some might say.

Anyway, I just got back from the big apple (Fantastic trip by the way) and i'm honestly definetly genuinly positively going to be active on gamespot from NOW ON!

Can you gimme a w00t w00t?

Didn't think so...

I *Heart* Nintendo

After watching the Nintendo E3 Press conference, Im very very impressed. And for being skeptical about the Wii I deserve a good hard slap.

Particular games that stood out were Zelda: Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3, Excite Truck, Sonic wild and Wario ware.

Everything else kicked arse too though. Bring on the Wii!
