ive heard bad things is it really as bad as they say, i would love to finally play these games, plus is the first silent hill good enough for playing nowadays?
britishdude360's forum posts
lol the title suggests better times, not only times lol but thanks for your opinion indeed patches are a god send but at the same time it gets develpers becoming lazy and unfortuante people with out the web will suffer the most
Yes i understand the deadlines and yet they stilled delayed silent hill hd collection, i mean im fortuante enough to have access to the internet, some people arnt, these lots of people who i know who have not got it and i would tell them about games that are just broken and they wont buy it as they wont recieve a patch.
40 pounds/60 dollars is a lot of money nowadays and yes i have a girl too i have a job/socialising and all that, but i do enjoy gaming, and yes i do play this gen games, and have enjoyed some titles, such as uncharted series, heavy rain metal gear solid 4, but i mean 90 percent of games now are rushed and released, and a product should only be released if its finished in this case some people wont get to play their titles such as skyrim to what we play with patches.
When ever i sit down to play a game, why do i always get the impression i have been ripped off, i dont think i can name many games that have really stuck out from this geneartion, when someone asks me about the joys of gaming, i always think of the good old days, when, games like resident evil, silent hill, tomb raider, metal gear solid, now these games are worthy of anything produced nowadays.
I have been thinking about how we wait so long for a game nowadays and we find out the game is a waste of time, games are usually released broken most of the times , current example silent hill hd collection and then as the cash rolls in they we resolve the matter by a patch.
this is just not accpetable, we would of excpet it in the ps1/ps2 days why should we accept it now, we pay way more now for games,
developers are getting so greedy, its like you can judge the world by the most popular publisher nowadays, for example ea..charging for online passes if preowned, bringing out stupid games like fifa street and fifa euro 2012, when i rememeber in 98 you got all this in one disc, im so glad i had the chance to experince the real joys of gaming, cause at the moment everything is a cash in, human quality has been replaced by greed and quantity, its a real shame i just cant see the games getting much better in the future, hope my future gaming is brighter
P.S makes me laugh there are about 5 games of hd collections coming out, best games never get old.
An absoloute joke who ever reviewed that game.
Loving it, not getting repetive at all, its not like its hack and slash game its deeper then that.
Im glad for the rpg elements, adds to it, and the glitches and bugs are easily looked over and if your fortunate to have internet connection they will be pathced.
Dead Island, ever since its debut trailer, many of gaming fans were excited for this game, the trailer was very inventive, and had an emotional feel to it, and me i couldnt wait to avenge this little girls murder, check the trailer out for more details.
So after checking out some gameplay trailers and previews, i was impressed enough to make this game a day one purchase for me, Yes i had a look at some reviews too, but after some reviews from this website and IGN previously, ive given up on them and their opinion is usually different to mine.
IGN-8.0/10
GAMESPOT-7.0/10
EDGE- 3/10
Whether you follow reviews or not these two aint a bad guide, which brings me to express my disgust with EDGE, this game is no where near 3/10.
Okay yes this game has occasional glitches/bugs and some auto saves may be out a bit, but seriously this game is good, not great not perfect its good.
Ive played about 4 hours in now, im enjoying the weapons, the atmosphere, the sound and graphics really make this game. in my opinion adds to the tension of damn, this really could be me dying if i dont run away from these 20 zombies LOL!
Okay yes the game trailer wasnt even developed by the developers of the game, but i suppose, a film trailer can con you sometimes, the game is very tongue and cheek, not like the emotional trailer intended, the game borrows its ideas from obvious titles such as oblivion/left 4 dead/dead rising/borderlands. But a lot of games do this now a days and edge really came down on them for this.
Anyway please comment about how you feel about what ive said and the review topic?
