Wolfenstien 3D, the original Jet fighter (if I can get my 286 or 386 up and running), Odell lake (ah days of elementary school nastaligia), Original Oregon trail, Battle Chess (if I can find another copy, my got demagnetized), Sim City (played the heck out of it in the Jr High computer lab), Oh and Blade Runner.
Yes some of it has to do with money. Just to much right now. The real issue is that as I have learned, So many games so little time. I have so many games that came out from xbox and now 360 that I still have many in their wrappers never opened or opened and never even put into the machine. That is why I won't get one. I can't even play the games I currently own let alone another console.
beekayjay, is partially right. It is free to him because he is not paying for the server or the bandwidth. But some one is and just like our BS government eventually that some one either runs out of money or says F it and quits. Bandwidth and server space ain't cheap, look it up some time. Bazfrag, Same thing I just said, some one is paying the cost whether it is you or some one else. Some one always pay, just like in the real world. Like food stamps government assistance, it is free to the people who are receiving it or using it. Again the money (or in this case a game server) just don't exists out of thin air. I do not know how many servers from my favorites list just disappear after a while never to appear again.
Theres a very good chance of another Halo flop...Theres not even Master Chief in it !

So? It is nice to have a broad story of the halo universe. Take Halo wars, gives a chance to see how some things came about that we guessed about from the previous games. I love the master chief but I always loved the marines that were in my care. They were funny, crude and the reason I kept playing the first, goal was to save as many as you can on legendary. But I like how they are fleshing out the universe which doesn't completely revolve around the Master Chief. Though I would like to play the chief when he was younger and first getting started. As for PS3 I have seen no games so far that justify me to pay for it. I once was going to get the PS2 just for the GTA series but just when I was going to they put it on xbox.
Nothing in life is free. I don't care what any one wants to think, nothin is free at all. PC people who play on any server should know that it isn't technically free. Some one is paying for it. Might not be you but some one some where is either paying for the server space or trying to host it from their computer. Just pay attention to the scrolling messages before during or after the game or while the map is loading. They all are either hosted by a clan (who pay dues) or asking for donations to keep the servers running. I should know because every time I turn around on BF servers and other Multi player games that message pops up. I don't know about PSN but again some one is paying for the servers, if not you then sony or the game publishers. Yeah 360 makes you pay but that means you can always play any of the games all the time. Even now you could play halo 2, mech assault, even crimson skies still. I know, thought I try it out while waiting out Hurricane Ike and for the power to kick back on (xbox doesn't over work my generator). So the question is do you want to pay with the garruntee that you can play or run the risk of just droping out with out notice like some of my favorite servers.
after playing C&C for PS and Halo wars. Out of them I go with Halo wars. The maping of the control and intuitive of the setup is really nice. Considering I swore never to do console RTS again. I have to admit they did a good job in Halo wars. Not sure about C&C3 and C&C red alert 3 only own them on PC, was gun shy of having to play RTS on consoles. But since Halo wars is only 360 and I like the idea of halo as a RTS I couldn't pass it up.
Wait I thought time warner doesn't exsit in texas any more? I thought it is now comcast and I sure know that they would have sent me something about jackin me for more money.
Guess I will send it to their Arse. It just is annoying as can be that it is that game and that game. I mean I waited a year after 360 came out to avoid this problem, thought they had it fixed by then. Well I am going to send it because I should still be in the 3 year warranty time frame.
My problem is GRAW is giving me RRoD. After the Update of course but so far none of my others games have. But I have 25 games to play for about an hour to figure out if they also have RRoD problems. Oh and does the RRoD also have the green back ground to it? becuase unlike the picture in the first post mine has the three and blink the fourth and just behind the red is green, is that normal?
This is just annoying as I meant to play this game for a while but just haven't (it was a present from my wife). Well 2 days before update I plug the game in and played it with no problems. Till after the update, I messed around for a couple of days getting used to the setup and play a couple games of Halo 3 and Gears of war 2 online. Went back to playing GRAW and boom anywhere from 5 minutes to a half hour I get RRoD. This is really annoying and I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue? I mean for crying out loud it seems to be just GRAW right now, it'll play halo 3 and Gears of war 2 fine for hours. No problems with the Civil War game by history channel (which used to be one glitchy SOB but isn' any more go fig). I guess I am going to have to ship her off now. But just checking to see if others have had this problem.
