Three mobile games that could easily get the movie treatment

With the recent news happening this week of a Fruit Ninja movie being announced in development this is the second game I've seen being made into a movie with the first movie being based on Angry Birds. Everyone knew that was going to happen at some point since the Angry Birds franchise was one of the most popular games to be released on mobile phones since 2009 and spanning from multiple games, comics, a theme park and a movie.

The thought about a movie based on Fruit Ninja being a family-friendly film the main element of the game itself is slice up all manner of fruit by swiping the screen on your phone. Very likely it'll be based on two characters who are Ninjas that want to become the best of the best, so it's likely the plot would be based on slicing up fruit in a competition or based on a legendary folklore story where fruit would attack people that's just a guess from what I think will happen when it comes to film plots. But if more and more games get turned into movies here are three other games that could easily get the treatment if they ever do get a movie or not.

Temple Run-

It is very likely that Temple Run could easily be the next game to get the film treatment, with a basic story plot on stealing a Jewel you get chased by monsters and the main objective is to just avoid, dodging and jumping over barriers. I can easily see this getting more of the Hollywood treatment being a live-action with some actors but likely that it'll be something on the lines of Indiana Jones or National Treasure franchise having the story based on an ancient artifact but turning out to be something evil or being something that everyone wants to get their hands on.

Wind-up Knight-

During our childhood we've always had a wind-up toy to keep our little lives happy, wherever it's a wind-up robot or a wind-up toy car. Wind-up Knight is a simple style platformer a little similar to games like Super Mario Bros, the princess gets kidnapped and it's up to the Wind-up Knight to go save her. I could easily see this getting turned into a 3D animated film with a basic plot on rescuing the princess and of course having a main villain behind everything.

Cut the Rope-

Yet another popular game on mobile that's been around since 2010, where the main objective is to feed candy to a little green creature named Om Nom while collecting stars. Since 2015 the game has been downloaded more than 600 million times, a film based on Om Nom would actually work for a movie where Om Nom would be sent to someone's house and a family would have to look after it as a pet but more you feed it candy likely Om Nom could easily get poorly or someone kidnaps it for an experiment. If you've seen movies like Gremlins or E.T. looking after a pet can have some big responsibilities, it also depends on how will this get developed too would you want it to be a live-action film or an animated film?

What mobile game do you think could get the movie treatment?
