GBA Games I would like to see on Nintendo Switch

Much as I'm enjoying both NES and SNES games on my Nintendo Switch through the Online Subscription Service with games like Donkey Kong Country, New Super Mario Bros and The Legend of Zelda. There are other games on their list I've never even heard of caught my attention as well, I'm not too fussed about the Nintendo 64 and Sega Mega Drive games on their service plus didn't fancy paying for the extra upgrade on the online services since I already own most of the Mega Games on my Classic Console which I bought on release back in 2019. There was one particular article that recently caught my attention, being that Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games could be coming next plus a possible leak of games could make their appearance from the Game Boy Advance list from VGC.

When thinking about the idea of playing GBA games on the Nintendo Switch is a nice idea, something like this has been done in the past for a few games through the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U. If it came under the normal subscription service I would be down for this idea for sure and a trip back down memory lane with a few classic games which I know for a fact would work really well on an HDTV; so here is my list of games I would like to see on the Nintendo Online Subscription Service if it does get announced by Nintendo in the future.

Final Fantasy IV Advance-

I am aware that Final Fantasy IV Pixel Remaster is on both Steam and Mobile devices, there is a possibility that the Pixel Remaster Collection could get released onto consoles sometime in the future if Square Enix decides to do this. It might have been called Final Fantasy II, when it was first released back in 1991 for North America on the SNES, but elsewhere, like Japan this was the fourth instalment in the Final Fantasy series which was Final Fantasy IV. When it comes to storytelling I always keep recommending Final Fantasy IV to most of my friends, mainly because it had a great story following Cecil a dark knight as he tries to prevent the sorcerer Golbez from seizing powerful crystals and destroying the world. He is joined in this quest by a frequently changing group of allies, some of the characters you meet are memorable, also the soundtrack is amazing as well, thanks to Nobou Uematsu I could easily listen to both Boss Battles themes which are memorable and make you feel tense when it came to battling bosses and enemies. It has been ported to other systems as well, including the Nintendo DS and PSP which I do own by the way as I've already said I loved Final Fantasy IV for what it was and is on my list of favourite Final Fantasy games along with IX, X and VII. I'd highly recommend you checking this game out if you haven't played it yet you will not regret it.

The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap-

I know that Ocarina of Time was everyone's favourite in the Zelda franchise, I really did enjoy The Minish Cap especially on a handheld Phantom Hourglass was a fun game but this one in particular I found more fun and challenging. With a basic story on top of it where every 100 years, the small Picori come to visit the KIngdom of Hyrule that they once saved from Darkness. But one year, the terrible Vaati casts a spell on Princess Zelda and ruined the festival, Link must save his childhood friend, but he must unite with Ezlo, a strange talking cap. The clever thing about The Minish Cap that you could shrink to the size of a Picori which is the size of an insect you can see the world for what it is for a tiny person where the grass is huge as trees and Picori people living in books which seems adorable. But it's the graphics and visuals that really makes this game shine, especially on the Game Boy Advance, I can easily remember spending hours on clearing through the main story and solving the puzzles but it was one of those Zelda games that kept me hooked for hours.

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga-

This was the first instalment for the Mario & Luigi series, which had four sequels soon after this, the sprite animation that really sells it when it comes to talking about Superstar Saga seeing the facial expressions on both Mario and Luigi are funny. Plus meeting other characters in the Mario universe and in Superstar Saga are memorable too. For an RPG game, it centres on a battle system different from that of traditional games of the genre, with emphasis on timing and more elaborate attacks so you got to time your attacks when it came to fighting enemies and bosses. You would think that Bowser is behind everything and kidnap Princess Peach as always that we've seen in past Mario games, but you are wrong on that one the plot is even bigger then that with more villains who are even more evil than Bowser. The graphics, visuals and soundtrack were also the strongest point about Superstar Saga and yet all of those features were later used in other Mario & Luigi games later to come.

Sonic Advance series-

Later Sonic games had mixed reviews after the release of Sonic Adventure 2 back in 2001, the Sonic games that were released on the Game Boy Advance had positive reviews and scores on all three Sonic Advance games. Sonic Advance 3 was my favourite out of the bunch which had the right difficulty challenge and giving you the option to have two characters. Having two different characters each to their own the choices are endless on how you want to play the game where you could have Sonic and Tails or Tails and Cream or even Amy and Knuckles; There is something for everyone and of course Sonic has had a good history of games over the past 30 years since his debut in 1991 this is a perfect to celebrate by having all three Advance games on the service.

Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories-

The Kingdom Hearts franchise has now finally made its way to the Nintendo Switch but sadly as the Cloud version which I know a lot of people, including myself hate the idea of it needing a good internet connection to play the franchise on the Nintendo Switch. Having the original Chain of Memories would be a good shout out for those who want to play the original instead of the PS2/HD ReMix version and comparing the two together which one stood out better. Both versions are good regardless wherever you enjoyed them or hated them personally I think the GBA version stands out a little better and back then this was the only way to play a Kingdom Hearts game on the go before the other prequel games came down the road on both the PSP and Nintendo DS. Plus you would also need a few good JRPG games outside of Nintendo's GBA library if you think about it.

What GBA games would you like to see if Nintendo does an Online Subscription Service for Game Boy Advance?
