I loved the Resident Evil games for its horror even tough Resident Evil 5 was a massive disappointment for me, I haven't even got around to playing both Resident Evil 6 and 7 yet. I knew this was going to happen at E3 at one point and been waiting for a remake for a very long time and I was very happy to see that Capcom has got around to developing the remake of Resident Evil 2. Yes, this year is the 20th Anniversary since the original game was released on the PlayStation back in 1998 and also in the fictional world of Resident Evil where the outbreak began in Raccoon City.

With the recent news that Onimushia: Warlords getting the remastered treatment on PS4, Xbox One, Steam and Nintendo Switch for a release in 2019, it does make me wonder if the rest of the Onimusha games would be released later in the future because I wouldn't remind replaying the series again especially Dawn of Dreams which had a good challenge and boss battles in total. Replaying Onimusha: Warlords is going to be a trip back down memory lane because the last time I've played it was 11 years ago, on the original Xbox and also the last game I've completed before purchasing a PS3 and my second original Xbox got over-heated.
When thinking about classic Capcom games like Resident Evil and Mega Man there is another Capcom classic I wouldn't mind seeing making a come back either as a remastered titled or a reboot to the series which is Dino Crisis. I still have the original game which I picked up for £1 after spotting a copy in Cash Converters, first time playing it just reminds me of the Jurassic Park franchise, set on an island doing research facility that would later be overrun with dinosaurs.
The story is set during the year 2009, Regina a special operations agent sent with a team to investigate a secluded island research facility after finding out that dinosaurs have taken over the island and must fight through the facility to discover its secrets and ultimately escape alive. Like I said think of Resident Evil mixed with Jurassic Park just replace the zombies with dinosaurs. Even the gameplay feels a lot like a Resident Evil you've got your guns, ammo, keys to open doors and healing items; there's even puzzles involved and backtracking back and forth around the island as well.
This game was released back in 1999 released of the PlayStation and would be released a year later for both the Sega Dreamcast and PC. The graphics and visuals still look impressive for what it was when looking back at it almost twenty years ago, if Capcom considers the idea of giving it the remastered treatment like what's happening with Resident Evil 2 if it gives you the option of playing it either in 3rd-person or in 1st-person and the option to using the PlayStation VR the idea would totally work if you think about it. If Resident Evil 2 sells really well for next year the odds of a remake on Resident Evil 3 is very high on happening plus the fact that a lot of people would love to see Nemesis making a comeback especially on next-gen consoles. A sequel was released a year after and a third game released only on the original Xbox in 2003 with the poor reviews and sales on Dino Crisis 3, there hasn't been much else since on the Dino Crisis franchise making it feel that Capcom have forgotten about the series in general. Fans have been asking over the years for a new game in the series or even a remake or reboot to Dino Crisis like I said if Resident Evil 2 is a success that wish could happen if more and more fans and gamers ask for this.
Would you want Dino Crisis to make a comeback?
