I saw this after winning the movie PREMIERE tickets from a radio show. DID. NOT.DISAPPOINT. The opening was great, with the first infection of the story with the main character, the "When The Man Comes Around" song, and the scenes that show you what happened leading up to the virus beginnings and eventual takeover of the world are all GREAT stuff. And at the end, the final, during credits ending, (No spoilers) wasn't happy. Which I liked. The movie was funny mostly with a few scary moments, but entertaining all the way through. The only real fail of the movie (Ok..now spoilers. But the movie is older now, so just deal with it. LOL.) was the father, the pregnant (and very infected) wife, and the undead baby. Kinda dumb the way that situation ended. Didn't care about any of those three though. Actor Ty Burrell had some hilarious snarky and sarcastic lines. Rest of the movie I enjoyed. I have watched this several times since the original time I saw it, and still love it. DON'T WATCH it on a regular network channel or basic cable. They butcher the movie with editing. Plus annoying commercials. Really wish Romero could've or would've trademarked "of the dead", cause man..that term got used and abused in a hurry with a ton of really bad movies. Not bad in an entertaining way. Just bad as in awful and unwatchable. This one is great though. I'll say 4 out of 5 stars.
I read this and thought...it's November 1st, not April 1st. (April Fool's). I don't care how good he is at indy stuff, it would never work for many reasons, and is a DUMB idea/prank that should've never been formed..
