I would rather have a well put together single player action/rpg set in the Fable universe but give us some more choices than we had in three in a more open expansive world. I long for the good ol days were we build a character that we wanted to build. and that was shaped by our choices.

@TheTrueMagusX1 Well, if that's what it sounded like then it's not what I meant. Actually I am more in agreement with you when you say "It goes both ways". That's what I was trying to get at but it seems you turned my words into a kind of "YOU THINK ONE IS BETTER THAN THE OTHER! THAT'S CONTRADICTORY!" and while I would agree with that what I was trying to say was as a PERSONAL OPINION I am more likely to play games that are more like the Elder Scrolls; which allow me to choose my path and not generalize me into a GOOD, NEUTRAL, EVIL trichotomy. It seems to me that you would rather discuss why I may or may not be wrong and what YOU personally do not like rather then try and understand another persons point of view. Not to sound like a punk of course.

I will still play The Elder Scrolls even though the game is heavily intertwined with mythology. While playing my character I can choose NOT to believe in the gods and goddesses of Tamriel and the reactions from the people (NPC's) are governed by my actions; not what I take on faith. However with games like Fable if I choose to say, eat meat instead of tofu; my "morality" or "corruption" goes down. In Fallout: New Vegas; if I wanted to keep a "good moral" standing I would have to support a pro militaristic agenda and martial law (NCR), something I feel is quite loathsome even though the factions leave themselves fairly open. The reason I like The Elder Scrolls so much is because it allows you to be who you are and who you want to be. Even if who you are NOT someone who believes in the gods, even if your are NOT someone of faith. If there are games that have some kind of faith built into the mythology of that game where said faith is "good"; I would like to see an equal amount of actions where NOT having said faith is also good. In other words; There is nothing good that religion or faith can do that cannot be done by purely secular means.
