So I finally decided to get myself an LJ. I've been debating for a while and caved this week.

It doesn't look like much, cause I'm still trying to figure stuff out, but hey, it's a start.

If you wanna friend me, feel free to do so. :)

Mars, Bars

This week's episode of Veronica Mars. Mars, Bars (314)

First thing I gotta say... NOOOOOOOO! Why did they kill Lamb?!?!?!? They can't kill Lamb!!! Ok, the guy was a jerk... but he is part of what makes Veronica, Veronica. I don't want him dead!

Ok, on with the rest....

- Loved Veronica in jail. It's great to see her humour about the situation. And Keith about 'not being surprised.' :D

- I always love Vinnie... he's such a dumbass... a smart one at that and I love the humour he brings to the show... even if he was there for a very short period.

- Was surprised by Logan going to see Veronica in jail though. But it was thoughtful of him anyway.

- We got some Mac and Wallace, and more than just 5 seconds!!! :boogie:

- Could've done without the Valentines Game... but hey, at least it gave us some Mac... I don't like where they're going with Parker and Logan though...

- New developments in the case... the timeframe for the Dean's murder has changed... interesting, it gives a new opening to who it could've been. Prof. Landry's shirt found by Weevil, full of blood. Interesting. Also, Mindy's ex-husband's fingerprints on the keyboard, interesting.. but we know he didn't do it since Sacks shot him... Which brings me too....

- SACKS SHOT SOMEONE!!! That I did NOT see coming. I thought it would've been Keith, but nope.

- As for the coaches murder... interesting twist. it really wasn't a murder after all... the coached being terminally ill, was definitely something that I did not see coming. But once that was figured out, I immediately thought he killed himself to help out his family.
- Veronica helping Josh get out... I guess it was the right thing to do. She seemed so broken at the end though when she saw Logan sitting with Parker. I guess she didn't realise that he'd move on... or even, be interested in Parker.

- Keith's the Sheriff again!!! It's cool! But at the same time... I can't help but wonder what will happen to Mars Investigation. I like Keith the PI.

Quotes I liked:

Cliff: Anyone wanna know what I think?
(silence)
Cliff: Ok then, I'll keep it to myself.  :)Gotta love Cliff.
-
Keith: I'd like to see the Sheriff.
Sacks: I don't know Keith, he's kinda busy.
Keith: OH, now that I gotta see.
-
Lamb: Hey, I know you.
Wallace: Yeah, you told me to go see the wizard and ask him for some guts.
Lamb:So did you?
Wallace: Yeah. He told me to tell you that you're the only sheriff in America who's atrue friend of Dorothy.

 Go Wallace!!!! And Veronica's face to that comment.... PRICELESS!

This episode was Very Good! Can't wait till next week, and find out who actually killed the Dean.

Some Buried Bones & The Girl in the Gator

For tonight's NY:

The episode and Nelly Furtado were better than I would have expected.

The cases were interesting. Mac's case was a little predictable though.

I loved that we got to see Kyle Gallner again. I love that guy. He played a bigger role in this episode than the others he's been in since he was introduced. The scene at the end with Mac was great. Reed asking about Claire, Mac actually seemed uncomfortable, which is totally understandable, but not something we see every day.

Loved when Danny tapped on the 'belly' and the stuff fell out.
Stella's comment on that was great as well. "Congratualtions, you're having twins!" Awesome!

I so totally thought that Danny's phone call would have been Lindsay. I was so pissed when it turned out to be Angell.

Danny, as usual, looked HOT! (in the various shirts he was wearing)

All in all, good episode. But not the same without Lindsay.

For tonight's Bones:

First thing, I actually don't mind agent Sullivan that much. Ok, yes he is putting a wedge between Booth and Brennan, but the guy seems pretty ok.

Although, 'Sully' came off a bit (IMO), cocky and presumptious, he grew on me during the episode, the same way he seemed to grow on Brennan.

Loved seeing Booth at the shrink. He didn't seem to realise that what he did to the clown speakerwasn't normal. It was hilarious to watch him always try to make the shrink sign the papers.
At the same time it was nice to see how the shrink slowly got Booth to open up. Whether it was about his relationships or about Epps. Booth without wanting to opened up slowly. It was great to watch.

Booth building the BBQ was funny as well. He didn't want to but he ended up doing it anyway.
The final scene with the shrink was very moving. Booth finally admitting that he doesn't have everything under control. Letting out that he felt guilty about Epps. Including Epps in the number of people he killed. The guy was in serious need to talk and once he did, he probably realised things he didn't even notice about himself.

The fact that he 'didn't know' if Epps slipped or if he loosened his grip, showed how much Booth hates not being in control of things.

I felt so bad for Angela, when the father came to the diner asking about his daughter's murderer. You could tell she was taking it hard, and then when Monty was found dead.... she looked so guilty when telling Brennan that she screwed up. Poor girl.

OMG! How much did I hate seeing Sully flirting with Brennan??? They shouldn't be flirting!! No, I won't have it. ARGH! And then he asks her out... and she says yes! What?!?!?!

The case was interesting... The preacher did it... it wasn't that surprising. But he was without any kind of remorse. I wanted to throw him to the gators!

When Booth and Brennan spoke on the phone and Brennan asked Booth if Sully was for real... I loved how Booth looked slightly jealous when Brennan's voice conveyed that she was impressed that Sully knew so much. It was great. The fact that he added: "I'll be back soon." The icing on the cake.

Quotes I liked:

Hodgins(about knowing about HSB): What? I clicked on a pop up and was stuck in a pornado.
-
Brennan: You know, anthropologically speaking, you follow a very ancient tradition.
Monty: Entrepreneur?
Brennan: Pimp.
-
Monty(about Brennan, to Sully): You actually have to spend all day with her?
Sully: Yeah, an actual woman. You might wanna try that some time.

There's got to be a Morning After Pill

VM's eppy this week.

Didn't get much for the Dean's murder case. The wife lied about having the volvo. Keith found an egg shell on the windshield.
There's an earwitness... oh yeah, what a reliable witness... Drunk guy heard the gunshot. Yeah, that's totally gonna break the case. rolleyes.gif

The 'Case of the Week' was ok.. I'm not gonna start a debate on if the girl made the right decision in keeping the baby. But i do have to say that her friend had absolutely NO RIGHT to do what she did. You can't make a decision like that for some else. What the hell is wrong with her.

I was surprised that her father took the pregancy so well, I know my dad never would. He's a religious guy (maybe not as much as her father), but I know for sure that I better be married before I get pregnant. He'd be even less thrilled, if I wasn't sure who the father was.

Loved that Weevil and Veronica teamed up again. It so reminded me of S1. I always loved their friendship. smile.gif But Weevil's right... Veronica's 'going soft.'

One thing that I was less enthused about, LoVe. Ok, seriously, they have got to stop this on again off again thing between them. Pick a choice and roll with it. It's getting annoying!

I get why she's pissed though. It was pretty stupid of him to sleep with Madison, especially since he knows how cruel she's been to Veronica in the past and how much Veronica hates her. Hell, I hate her! Also, he knew that Dick had a couple of flings with her in HS... why would he go there? Dick is Dick, but he's still human (even if he tries to conceal it and sometimes does a great job of it).

Logan's phone call to Veronica.... Loved it! Can't believe she erased it before ever hearing it all!

No Wallace or Mac this week. I miss those two. It was great that Veronica mentioned Mac's bday... some continuity from S1 Silence of the Lamb... where we find out about Mac and Madison's connection. smile.gif

All in all, a good episode. But not one of the greatest.

Writing.

Ok, so I'm bored out of my mind, and I have today and tomorrow off. But the thing is I have a writing assignment due Wednesday... ARGH!

I haven't started.

It's not something difficult even. Write a scene. How hard is that? It isn't, but it's got to be no more than 500 words. That's the tough part. I haven't written something that short since elementary school.

I'm going mad!!!

That is all. :)

"The Lying Game" (314)

The episode was definitely a better one of the season. It had some of everything. Character interaction, good cases and some GREAT D/L.

The cases. Both were pretty interesting and both had side stories.

Case A: The transgender female impersonator.

The guy's reason for drowning Quentin was absurd. ok, so she kissed you, you don't have to go shove her head down the toilet and drown her. Then he ended up being his own downfall because of sai toilet water. LOL!

I really liked the side story to this one. The fact that Quentin wanted the Congressman to pay for what he did to her sister. In the end, she got him, and the congressman's going to pay.

Case B: Extreme Sports guy.

To have died over some stupid piece of paper. it's ridiculus, but it brings us to the side story of the Alibi Company. Seriously, anyone could get away with anything now. As for the woman believing that a person who signs a contract that says the alibi can't cover for murder, is actually going to be honest there, she's got some serious issues. Her job is to lie for people. Does she really believe people don't already lie?

But it was a great twist that it happened to be the guy with the actual real alibi that did it. LOL. And the piece of paper that made the guy kill was from the alibi company, because his partner was cheating on his wife. Ridiculus.

In the end though, neither killers had any kind of remorse for what they did.

Danny as usual looked freakin' HOT!

Flack was AWESOME in this episode. Had some great lines. It's good to have him back.

It was great to see lots of Lindsay, we haven't been getting much of her recently.

Lindsay left for Montana, but not before giving us some incredible scenes between herself and her coworkers.

We see her openning up fully to both Mac and Stella and we see them show their support. Seeing them hug was definitely a very touching scene. Shows how close the team really is.

We also find out why she stood Danny up all those months ago... with the phone call she received, it probably openned up some old wounds.

Danny seeing Lindsay with Mac and Stella, then exiting the office. He looked so torn; broken and hurt. Poor guy, I just wanted to wrap my arms around him.

Lindsay leaving the card for Danny on the desk, was sweet. I loved that Hawkes seemed to be dissapointed that she at least didn't call Danny and give the chance to say goodbye. Everyone in the lab knows that there's something between Danny and Lindsay, and it's great that it's acknowledged.

When Lindsay was leaving in the cab and asked the cab driver to stop. I so wanted her to get out and go after Danny. But instead she stayed in the cab and just watched him, as he watched her earlier. Maybe it was easier for her this way. She needs to deal with what's at home before being able to make any progress with Danny. The scene was moving. you could see the emotions going through her at that moment. The longing for him. She looked dejected as she finally told the cab driver to continue.

THE CARD! I'm so glad we got to see what was on it. Lindsay's message was short yet sweet, and keeps things open for when she gets back. She also didn't chose an empty card, she chose wisely. The words printed on the side were: "You're in my thoughts." Definitely sends a message that she'll be thinking about him. Most importantly she signed the letter 'Montana.' that was definitely a great sign of affection. She could have chose to sign her name, but she chose to sign the letter by the nickname that Danny gave her, that she once hated. She doesn't hate it anymore.

Here's a cap of the card:

Some great quotes:

Stella: What's a woman doing in the men's bathroom?
Flack: Oh, I could think of a few reasons. All with happier endings.
-
Flack(when talking to the congressman about the matching DNA): Now, I didn't go to Yale here boys, but even I can do the math.
-
Stella: Your word is being questioned because you're a politician.
-
Flack(talking to Frank about Quentin): What's the matter Frank, don't like our girls in NY?

Show Me The Monkey

I'm so glad Veronica Mars is back from the break....

Great Episode. Loved the case, it was simple and pretty obvious (to me at least) who did it. But I enjoyed it anyway.

- Dick, just keeps on getting weirder as the show progresses... Seriously? Taking pictures of your manhood and then throwing the pictures over your hotel balcony? Weird!

- I was dissapointed that we saw sulking Logan for the majority of the episode. Where's the OPJ (Obligatory Psychotic Jackass) from S1? I liked him, he had attitude and I loved his cocky side. But I do understand, he misses V.

- Yay! I was so happy to see Mac throughout the episode. I love Mac, she has spunk and she's an awesome character. I'm loving that they're giving her a love interest, the guy doesn't seem too bad either. Just hope he doesn't turn out to be another Cassidy.

- Keith totally got beaten at his own game, by Prof. Landry... It was awesome, he's got a worthy apponent.

- As for who shot the Dean... no speculation on my part as of yet... interesting though that his murder resembled Veronica's 'Perfect Murder' paper.

- The scene with Piz and Veronica had me saying 'no' over and over... I don't think they'd be good together... Sorry for those who ship them.

EDITED: But I will admit that seeing him heartbroken afterwards, was sad and deserved an 'awww.' The poor guy looked so dejected, he got the wrong impression, and seeing how he reacted, showed just how much he's falling for Veronica.

- But loved where she ended up though. I don't ship LoVe anymore, but it was just an awesome scene. Kinda made me think of why I had shipped them in the first place.

Some good quotes:

Veronica: Mac (looks up), and the people that have come to take me away.
-
Logan: My man parts are intact.
Dick: Show me.
-
Mac: i've never been intiated before, think I'll get a code name?
