I can't decide whether to buy it this Christmas, or wait until the price drops and buy it next year sometime....argh.

I just feel the UK is getting screwed with the prices, so I don't have much choice but to wait :(

I heard this from the Wii Sports forum here at GameSpot... does anybody have any info on this? If Wii Play does come with an extra Wiimote then it (almost) justifies the high price of the Wiimote and Nunchuk bundle.

I think I'll hold off from the Wii until the price drops a bit. Its not expensive, its just it seems a little overpriced in Europe and UK, and the controller price is basically a rip-off, since almost everyone will need to buy an extra controller or two. Its a toss-up between a Wii, or an M50 BB Sniper. I'd really like to get the gun as soon as possible since Airsoft BB guns might become illegal to buy or sell in the UK soon. Anyway, I'll decide nearer December 8th between the Wii, and the M50 Sniper. The gun's cheaper though.

In school today we did a Career Choice lesson (which i think we'll do for a few more weeks)... by chance, I found an information sheet about being a Games Designer. I've been obsessed with video games for almost 10 years, so naturally it sounded good. I looked, and it seemed pretty cool. 5 or more GCSE passes, 2 or 3 ALevels and a degree in anything from Computer Science to Art and Design. And you don't even need the degree. Maybe one day I'll be working for Ubisoft or maybe even Nintendo ;) That would be awesome. I've taken Electronics, ICT, Art Graphics and Music for GSCE Options, so looks like I'm on the right path.

I can't say I'm really suprised. Sony have got to be one of the most untrustworthy companys around. Once again, Europe is left out of the Ps3 campaign until March 2007. Still, maybe more people will convert to the Wii?

I was playing the demo (at first i thought it was too hard and stupid, but then i completed it), and suddenly thought 'I need this game!'. I went on ebay and saw it new for £12.49 (inc shipping) so I bought it! I have always wanted a strategy game where you can jump into the action and help out, and suddenly here I was playing one! Even better, it's a fantasy game! It should come pretty soon, so I can review it and stuff. Excited!

IMO, the Nintendo 64 is the best console made to date. It was the first console I ever had, and I used to play it about 8 years or so after it was first made. It was home to Perfect Dark, Goldeneye 007 and the Zelda series. It is truly a great console, even by todays standards.
