And, if it's really that powerful, then the XBX upgrade wasn't really an upgrade at all. Just an excuse to sell another $500 system. I, too, was looking forward to fable especially, so I feel your pain my friend.
There's a few reasons. 1) when the game came out it was a buggy mess and didn't even get moderately better until after the first couple DLC drops; 2) the game had a huge focus on microtransactions (sure most games do nowadays), but you were hard pressed to not get 3 or 4 of the same thing with a different name in a series of loot box openings - it was really lazy to name one emote 3 different things and have you unlock each individually; 3) the issue with the requisite score requirement for the scorestreaks was only addressed after several months when much of the player based dropped off; and 4) the fact that divisions unnecessarily took choice away from the player (though I'm not upset that they tried something new since they never do).
I'm just waiting for the bomb to drop again. I distinctly remember lots and lots of comments on COD WWII saying, "Yay! We're going back to our roots" and "Look, guys, they listened to us." And, I distinctly remember being disappointed that I bought the game even after not having bought a game since Ghosts. I'm not convinced even a little bit.
@kevinlamar because whenever they try something different, somebody bitches about it. "Man, why the main character has to be black AND a gangster?" "Man, how come this female character looks so hot and raunchy?" Man, why were the zombies black in RE5?" It's annoying people complain about everything nowadays, and this comment is coming from a black guy, mind you.
