@PlatinumPaladin @Topperfalkon Bit difficult seeing as this is the first I've heard of the item. The point of collector's items is that they're an investment as a valuable scarce object, and they have a symbolic or special meaning to some people, in this case Portal fans. When there are no more guns available, the price will go up. It's always worth buying if you have the money to spare.

@PlatinumPaladin Really? It's meant to be a collector's item, not an actual toy. That's why they did a limited run.

Do your research Brendan, GameStop are already competitors in the same market (Digital Distribution) due to their ownership of Impulse, which is also selling the game. It's far more likely that fuelled the decision to pull OnLive coupons than the fact they might have a streaming service next year. I'm not justifying their actions, but I do understand why they did it.
