TheSacredRing Blog

A new age has dawned.

Been a long time since I've posted a blog. Too many things to update on, but the better plan would be to gradually pour in the details. Been busy with higher education and life in general.

Very excited for 2009's releases so far and what's still to come, but 2010 is looking to rival 2007. No game has topped Halo 3's multiplayer yet. Willit be Reach that succeeds the throne? Just about a year folks.

That does it for now. I plan on being a bit more active again (not to my extreme levels of yesteryear, though), so stay tuned! Enjoy the gaming.

No matter what your opinions may be, none of us can deny that we were video game spoiled last year with all of these ridiculously fantastic titles.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Whether you are celebrating with family, friends, or alone, I wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving. Now go eat 'till you can't eat no more!

As of October 2007, my pick for top 5 games of the year...

5. Project Gotham Racing 4 (fantastic and true to the series' roots).

4. God of War II (ridiculously satisfying sequel to a brilliant original).

3. Forza Motorsport II (yet another superb racing sequel, one of my favorities in the racing genre yet).

2. BioShock (a masterful work of story-telling and moral judgement).

1. Halo 3 (Best. Game. Ever. No need for another word.).

Check out my Halo 3 review!

Honestly, you don't need me telling you to go get it. You should have it already. But if you want some reassurance, please read it. I'd appreciate feedback. Best game ever made.

Made a new Live gamertag! (Searing Wave)

Before you get your hopes up though, I'm only on silver for this one right now. I'll be upgrading it to gold relatively soon, but until then feel free to send me friend requests and I'll happily accept. Only annoying thing is, I have to get all of my achievements all over again...:x
