Well, it's better than AWOL. But, still not that good. But, yeah, inactivity pretty much sums up why it went MIA.

Yeah, I really liked it. But, man, I had one hard time on the "Trial of the Gods" extra (that's what it's called, right? The one with, like, ten trials). I suppose I'll overlook that fact that, as good as the game is, their portrail of the gods was far from accurate (personality-wise). Because it's such a cool game! :D

Now, it's not that I don't like the XBox...it's that I don't like Microsoft. While the XBox wasn't a bad system, I do have more resentment towards the 360. Namely because the XBox was not out very long at all. I have the feeling Microsoft could have made a 360 equivalent at the time, or somewhat close. The thing is, is that they have enough money, and don't need to foul the gaming industry with their more PC-based technology. Since, the 360 can be made into a PC, or something like that. And that's why, if I was to get one, I'd get it used, and off of eBay.

The PS3...well, they Blu Ray technology is a bit of a risk, but it can do a lot. If they can make the PS3 affordable at launch, then I hope the Blu Ray, if it's as good as said, takes off, inspiring similar technology in other consoles. Although, I'm not so sure about their controller design...I want to throw it, and hope it comes back to me, heh. But, seriously, it's the two long, what would you call them, arms?, that it has. They look just a bit too long. That, and it seems a bit small...

Now, I've always been a Nintendo fan. And I hope the Revolution does great. It's supposed to have a gaming library containing games all the way back to the NES, and are free to download, or am I wrong about that? Well, if I'm right about that, people seem to forget that. That WILL be a huge feature, I think. A lot of those old-school games are still good, and fun to play. I'm sure there are some people who would buy the Revolution just for that. As for the controller, well, I'm just as curious about it as everyone else. It is...unique. While I think I may prefer a normal controller, this one may work, too. It's just something we'll have to wait and see. As a sidenote, though, I think a lot of analyzers who are predicting the outcome of the new generation of the Console War are too often underminding the Revolution. Because, I think, they look at previous sales of our current-gen systems, and then compare them to the new ones, but being biased certain features and technologies, which in all and all, are important.

I enjoy finishing a game, collecting and unlocking what I can. So you can say that "I beat that game." But at the same time, it has another bladed edge, especially if it was a really good game: it loses some of it's excitement. You go in a first time, and it's like "Oh yeah, bring it!" Don't know what to expect, can't wait to see what'll happen next. But once you beat it, if you go through and play it again, you know what's going to happen. You know you'll get this weapon here, you know this person will die, you know he'll try to reshape the planet in his own image (a reference to Kefka, actually). When you beat a game, it can both be joyous, and saddening. Especially if it was a rather difficult game. Because beating it makes it that much sweeter, but knowing the challenges and that you can do them, know how to do them, makes it that much...something.

The name's Kiel (it's germanic; pronounced as "Kyle" in english), but I also go by the nickname "Wolf." Um, I'm 19 (going to be 20 in April). I started on video games when I was about seven, with an used, or at least I think it was used, NES my parents got me. I can't remember if it was for Christmas or my birthday, though. But, I've been a gamer ever since. Uh, as it says in my profile: "I, and my friend, Vince, have plans to start up our own business, EternalWolf Studios, in Tokyo, Japan (where he currently lives) and I hope to move down there by the end of the year. We will start of slow, producing manga, then set up another branch to go into anime, and finally, a third branch for video game projects. I also, later on when I have the proper amount of money and financal support, want to start up the Games and Anime Protection Organization (GAPO) which would be a non-profit organization of activist gamers and otaku, and represent both against frivolous criticism and lawsuits. Along with just being something to show your a fan, and that you support what you love." And that's about all I can think on what to say. Except maybe, I think the Super NES probably the best system ever made. It's classic; it's a system god. And it had some excellent games.

I prefer to buy new games over used. If there's a game I really want, and I just can't seem to find a new copy of it, then I'll buy it used, sure. Or, older games that have been out for quite a while. But, I think one of the best things, is to try to look for deals online; like on eBay. Sometimes you get lucky and find a game that's cheaper then what the retailers are selling. Plus, shopping online is just more convenient, if you can stand the wait while it ships. But I don't ever trade in either games nor systems. I keep them, cause it's kind of nice to say "I own that!" unless it's something really bad.

Like E.T.! :D (no, I don't own it, I don't think ANYBODY does!)
