Totally agree with regard to Zenos. I'd said the exact same thing when I'd finished, in that it felt like they wanted him to return at the end of Stormblood as an important nemesis, but never figured out what to do with him. I still thought the fight with him at the end was a fantastic addition, though.
I would also say, the pacing issues are to be expected with an MMO, or at a very least they're par for the course in this one. It's so long and so spread out over a multitude of patches and expansions, it couldn't have been easy making a story like this fit into a game that has thousands of other players running around at the same time. Having to keep the state of the world somewhat consistent, and whatnot.
@dudebropartyyo: I highly doubt it would play every Atari game ever made due to licensing. That's why things like Atari Vault only contain games Atari has the rights to rather than games you'd expect to be there. Also it would be exactly the same as emulating via PC, because it is going to be emulating these games itself. That just leaves the "modern" elements, which I am anticipating to be Android like every other "console" outside of the big three. It's not going to be competing with Nintendo, it's going to be competing against things like Nvidia Shield and Amazon Fire TV.
@WarFox89: A constant connection isn't going to help you when Uplay server goes down. And it WILL go down. And when the game isn't profitable any more they will pull the plug and render the game unplayable forever, like EA did with Darkspore.
@sakaixx: I don't have any expectations, it's just not very interesting to look at ruins without any context as to what they are/were. I'm sure it's probably explained in game though.
From gameplay I've seen it looks like it has pacing issues and plenty of AI glitches with the guardian itself. On top of that I haven't seen any environments besides ruins.
