Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction
Oddly enough, I've never played a Ratchet and Clank game before. Well that's not true, I have played tidbits of its multiplayer game before but I've never actually played any of its epic single player. The visuals in this latest forray are absolutely jaw dropping and the weapons are top notch as usual. Needless to say, my first entrance to the world of Ratchet and Clank should be an amazing one.
Socom: Confrontation
Let's face it, I LOVE Socom. I mean I enjoyed Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter, but Socom was the first tactical shooter I took with me to the internet and it blew my mind. It's latest installment was an utter disappointment for me, but with this latest game (multiplayer only) it looks like things are back on the right track. The map they showed on the trailer appears very similar to a map I played in Socom 2 quite a bit and that's great, because it just so happens to be my favorite one.
Little Big Planet
Geez, who doesn't think this game looks fun? Just creating your character is going to rock. Couple it with the PS3's Home network, and you have a combo that just screams intereative community!
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Visually jaw dropping. With the credentials of Crash Bandicoot and Jak and Daxter, this game has everything going for it.
Heavenly Sword
You get to sword people in the groin. What's not to like?
Halo 3
This was sort of a no brainer right? Look at it. Seriously look at it.
Other games that I'm looking forward to include: Lair, Warhawk, Home, DMC4, Crysis, Final Fantasy, MGS4, GTA4, and The Darkness. Yah I'm aware that my list of games are steeped in PS3 titles, but that just goes to show you what a strong lineup it has. I'm not throwing my 360 out completely, but I'm going to need more than just Halo 3 (and first person shooters for that matter) if I'm going to be spending more time with it. I don't even no where my Wii is, so I'm going to presume my PS3 ate it.
