Here is a poem I wrote for Jane.
Jane
By Tiffany Gray
God works in mysterious ways
For out of England came an angel
An angel with an angel's name
An angel with an angel's voice
An angel with an angel's embrace
And an angel giving endless love
One happy day in heaven
A sweet angel was created
And sent down to Earth
To light the darkest nights
To warm the coldest days
To heal the deepest wounds
To nurse the sickest souls
And to mend the broken hearts
Her love could turn a heart of stone
Into a heart of pure gold
Her sweetness could sweeten the bitterest soul
And her colors spread to the grayest of places
Yes
God works in mysterious ways
For out of England came an angel
But as she continued to bloom like a rose
A heartbreaking tragedy occurred
Our angel became ill
And many odious souls abused her
These stone-cold hearts shunned our angel
Accusing her unjustly of fraud and treachery
And one-by-one
They turned many souls she deeply loved against her
Now broken-hearted and deeply devastated
Our angel lay sick
Pondering if her light and colors are real and undying
Or just artificial and vanishing
Those who still believe in her know
Her colors and bright lights are genuine
And they will live on eternally
Her love and sweetness is true
And it will touch and heal many more hearts
Her angelic voice is pure and natural
And her song will touch many souls
And it continues to move us to tears
As we worship her at her feet
We will always ponder forever
How so many soulless creatures can be so cold
So cruel and so blind to what God has sent us
How they can commit such a vile and heartless sin
And shun one of God's angels so unreasonably
We ponder if they will ever realize
That God works in myserious ways
For out of England came an angel
