familyguyvs360 "Editors say nonsense like this because that's what they are EDITORS! Not GAMERS!" And how did they become editors? They were gamers first. Think before you post.

What would it take for me to buy it? Absolutely top shelf single player games. While the entire gaming industry is going online, I could give a rats @ss about it. If I want to play online, I've got my PC. As of right now, I'm more likely to go purchase the 360, but I'm not even there yet. The Wii and my PC are holding my interest plenty. If there are killer 1-player games or good offline multiplayer games, I will consider it after they drop the price. The combo of high price to low value game selection compared to the Wii (IMO), 360 or even the PS2, doesn't make me want to buy it.

Hardware means nothing if the games are mediocre. From this line up, there will have to be more good games for me to even consider buying the PS3. Its too expensive for what it offers me. As someone said, I'll wait for the reviews and then consider buying it at the first price drop. Until then... give me your cheap PS2s... that's a proven, successful system.

Its the WiFi that's selling this. The game is probably on par with the previous versions, with better animations i would suspect. But the ability to battle other players on Nintendo Wireless is the big draw. A big plus for all the closet Pokemon fans. :)

$199 ($250 with bundle), early November. At least 10 titles available, with at least 30 VC games available. As for the surprise. I can't shake the idea that Nintendo is going to go all interconnectivity again, and offer a cable that connects the DS to the Wii-mote ala the nunchuk. Main hand touch screen, offhand Wii-mote... How that would fly is anyone's guess.

I'm actually a little surprised so many games passed. This is MS after all, who still hasn't bothered to make sure some of their more popular old XBox games would work on the 360. That said, because Vista is designed to be WAAAY more universal and flexible than the XBox, the fact that such a wide variety of games (both in graphical detail, memory usage and programming houses) worked is encouraging. Still... get Civ 4 working or I'm not "upgrading"...

1) Resident Evil 4 > Top of my list 2) Halo 2 > I really should see what the fuss is about, but I didn't like Halo at all 3) Katamari Damacy > Been dying to get my hands on this one 4) Ninja Gaiden (XBox) > I hear its on par in difficulty with the NES games... I'll be the judge of that... Jaquio was pretty tough 5) Half Life 2 > The first was a favorite
