No. You don't have or need to play all of them. It's as much about the different characters you encounter as it is who you play. It's a multiplayer only game with few game types. The large roster is it's core. Why on earth are we wondering if content shouldn't exist. How many players would have fallen off had they not been adding characters?
I wonder why the linked video shown by all (that I've seen) reporting on this story cuts off just after the controversy and just before his reaction and explanation?
He titled the original video "I've Discovered The Greatest Thing Online..." but it's clearly mocking everything a user is capable of doing on the site. His chosen message request is ridiculous and wrong, but wasn't that the point? The claim that regardless of intent, "Just putting it out there brings it more and more into the mainstream" makes me wonder how SNL or a large amount of content on Comedy Central gets by? Maybe they have been looking for a reason to dump him and this just gave them an opportunity to frame the departure in a way that made the company look good?
Maybe this is good. Nobody has been physically hurt, people have said and done what they want without being controlled by another, and now relationships have changed. People are looking at this, thinking, talking and learning. It's interesting.
I think Tamoor and Danny have been friends awhile, and probably both like seeing and doing stuff like this. It's great seeing someone light another torch at Gamespot and keep good stuff going. Double the content for the community!
