I run taskmaster in most of my teams. with switch hitters wesker, chris, skrull, Capt, Ryu, Zero, and I'm now just picking up Spencer. Combofiend has truly inspired me with his skill as Spencer.

I've typed out quite a response to this at my house. Sadly however, I'm in class at the moment. Beside the point I only typed out 2 or 3 pages on metroid prime sighting out its flaws as well as its strong points. Bio-shock on the other hand..........
To make a sad story short. With work and school.....8AND ALL THESE DAMN FRIGGING GOOD GAMES COMING OUT BACK TO BACK! its frigging hard to sit down and write anything. But really, is there a better time to do it then school?

On the Bio-shock side of things, the games a frigging beauty! It runs on the Fantastic unreal 3 engine so I don't see why it wouldn't though. While it may not look as great as unreal tournament 3 or gears of war, the game has a fantastic art style and deep deep story that can grab you with-in the very first 10 minutes. Also on the plus side is the voice acting. Some of the best *if not the best* I've had the pleasure of hearing this year.

To get to the point, if you can put up with the gore Bio-shock is a deep sea dive worth doing.

edit: Yes years later.....I honestly think i was swooned by the graphics of bioshock at the time of it's original release, because prime 3 blows it out of the water.
Hey guys. SyZtem here....as if you couldent tell. Anyway I just wanted to drop in and say I didnt killmyself just yet. Also I'm posting this blog title becuase the next time I get to sit down and write stuff, I'm going to stack up Bioshock to Metroid Prime 3.
Both outstanding games? For the most part each live up to a ceartin amount of hype, so I guess you could say so.
Also I did indeed get shadow the hedgehog. Ill beat it just as soon as good games stop comming out.

Ive been on a sonic rage as of late. I went into gamestop and ebgames and saw they had a massive discount bin full of crappy crappy games and phoenix wright. So I went over to knowing at lest 1 sonic game had to be in this poop fest. Low and behold a brand new never opened copy of sonic heroes for the game cube for 9$
How could i resist? well I couldn't thats how. So blazing at around ps1 speed I play sonic heroes.
The game is....playable at best, yet it is full of problems that have killed the fun in sonic adventure and a ton more.
The team switch mechanic is lame, and wile useful kills your speed almost no matter what you're doing. The games got some meat though, with 4 teams each with there own "story" *I say that lightly*. But still with all its problems its har not to recommend to sonic fans for the great price of $9.
Next up I picked up sonic adventure DX for the Gamecube.
Now i did this knowing the game was a travesty well before i decided to pick it up. The frame rate was jacked up to 60 frames per-second, because of this though the game dips its frame rate almost every time you take a step. The chao gardens are neat but just not as good as they where in sonic adventure 2 battle. I would go as far as to say this games biggest improvement is that they made sonic less fat then he was in the dreamcast version. NEAT!
Also a little jump in quality of the graphics if you can crank your GC up to 480P.
$10.....if you are a die hard sonic fan and just want a kick, hell why not.
Next on the sonic list is sonics biggest outing in 3d history. *not saying much but its a very good game*
Sonics next step into the 3d realm was indeed by far its best. Back to the old school sonic in the way that the city exploration part of the game was taken out. Now even if you liked the city parts in the first game, I think that after you play sonic adventure 2 without them you will agree that it greatly helps the flow of the game. A gritty-er story of the sonic universe. Sure its the same story, eggman/ chaos emeralds/ blow up earth/ eggman land.
The story hs al of that and eggman gets a BRAIN!!!!! AND HE USES IT! Go figure! Parts in this games story such as when eggman holds up amy with a gun to the face and makes sonic blow up in space are just great. Makes you think eggman just as sick of sonics crap as we are.
Did you like the chao garden in Sonic adventure 1? I did, in fact I loved it. Any way its back and with a ton of new stuff.
This time your chaos and turn evil and Light, as well when they do you open up new chao areas such as the light and dark chao gardens. The game also adds a new chao kindergarten. ITS SOOOO FIGGIN CUTE! also it helps you check it inside stats of a chao. The chao garden was one of the things that just made sonic adventure series so great.
If you are a sonic fan in any way its hard not to tell you to get off your butt and go get this treasure. $15 new. totally worth it.

Graphics are blech
Gameplay can't even be called gameplay due to the fact that its just hard next to impossible to play sonic without it glitching on you,making the frame rate drop, or just make your character look stupid.
The soundtrack for the most part has killed off its cheesy rocking 80's band for a more hip rap feel.......Sonics soundtrack in this game is just as bad as the game itself, that pretty hard to do!
My sonic games requiare large amounts of cheese sega. DON'T FIX WHATS NOT BROKEN!
The only good thing to come out of sonic is the introduction of sliver the hedgehog, I gotta say the guy looks awesome.
I'm not even going to bring up shadow the hedgehog.
So also with all the sonic titles I have gotten i just recently attained sonic advance 3.
The games pretty fun. I just bought it though so I haven't got to spend much time with it.
If you want me to point out somthing bad with the game though.
I hate cream the rabbit. She looks like she came out of the creative discount bin. Does this affect gameplay? Well you can play as her, I just don't see why in gods name you would want to. The game is not made by sega this time around, but instead dimps. This is for the best, as it seems sonic team as forgotten how to even make a game.
Game goes for a $15 price point brand new. Worth it? for old school sonic fans not ready to "BLAZE AT NEXT GEN SPEEDS!!!" I don't see why not.
I'm going to add a few more sonic games to the list on here in a bit, as well go out and try the rest i guess.
The over all point in this blog i guess is just a little quick overview of the sonic series from gamecube. Was it great? no, but it was decent. The sonic series made the jump to 3d rather well I would have to say. Since this happened sega took it and mangled it untill we got shadow the hedgehog and sonic the hedgehog on the "NEXT GEN PLATFORMS!!!" Sonics definitely fallen off his rocker, I would go as far as to say sonic team needs to just quit wile there ahead and pass sonic over to Dimps completely. They just don't seem to care about the blue hedgehog anymore. When they make a new game and you get your hands around it, the first thing that you can tell is the game sucks. Also they want alot of money for little effort.
Will sonic ever be the king of speed as he once was?

So I,ve nailed the hell out of everything pokemon has, got all legends including arceus and such, got castlevania doublepack which is friggin awesome!
But still theres a problem with all castlevania games and so far harmony of dissonance is no different.
If you take a wrong frigging step in the castle you can get lost for hours man! I needs me a guide.....with pictures because im lazy as hell.

I picked it just because the other 2 starters look like leftovers from like,,,,,.....fat gross poopy meatloaf.
Really though I mean we all know pokemon will never be as good as it was back in the day with the designs we use now.
Like 100 new pokemon....well ya, but like 50 or more of them are just circles with eyes.
Even ruby and sapphire had some awesome pokemon designs with Groudon and Kyogre.
The legendary's in pearl are ok....at best. The main legend in pearl looks like you could land a plane on the freaking guys neck.
Diamond is no different from pearl in this aspect. Look like its legend has a HUGE TUMOR just waiting to burst at any given second. Fix that though and they look really nice I mind you.
Pokemas aside God of war II rocked my ps2's face right off itself. I've never seen a better looking ps2 game in my life, lol more then half of the game will be spent going "HOW THE FREAK CAN THE PS2 HANDLE THIS!!!!"
In all honesty, god of war II looks twice as good as any wii game.
