The 80s called and they want their game back
Bad control design, simplistic 'horde' style fighting that we saw back in the 80s, cheesy narrative and graphics that could be achieved before the Pentium chip was invented. Using the right stick to point and fire ... Read Full Review

Turn based strategy that is fun, challenging, has great replay, online enabled and some catchy jazz music to boot!
If you like turn based strategy games that offer different types and levels of challenges, then this game is for you. Try the demo and you will get a very basic feel for game play. Being turned based, it is not as fr... Read Full Review

Catan
Fun, social with XBL and a great port of the classic boardgame
I love and still play Settlers of Catan (SOC) and its expansions in boardgame form. This is a wonderful and easy to play console version of that classic. Does it take a bit of time to get all the controls down? Yes, ... Read Full Review

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock
Picking up where they left off, then leaving us behind
Guitar Hero III picks up where they left off in GHII; solid game play, a great set list full of diversity and humor in between sets. There is a lot to like in this latest installment, including deeper avatar customizati... Read Full Review

BioShock
An engrosing walk through a story based in an alternate history
At first glance this was an alternate history, nice looking 'Doom' reset. I loved the atmosphere, the music and the 'art deco' feel of the architecture. However, I didn't care for the left hand, right hand thing and I... Read Full Review

Halo 3
Halo 3, like other '3s' this year, it is good, but not the best
There is no substitute for the original, it was all new, exciting and broke new ground to the level of making us fall in love. Like movies that come later, the graphics (CGI in the case of movies) are better. The produ... Read Full Review

LEGO Batman: The Videogame
Two Face is a good icon to represent this game
I have enjoyed the Lego puzzle games, from all the SW installments to the Indiana Jones and Lego Batman is also on the 'enjoy' list. However, there is a darker side to this installment and some definate 'fun killers' in... Read Full Review

Castle Crashers
A great game that is even better with friends and family!
What puts this game over the top, when we have all 'Been there done that' with side scrolling, button mashing games? There are several reasons, but I will try and focus on five in no particular order. o The music ro... Read Full Review

Guitar Hero II (Game only)
Bridges generations
Solid game play, a progressive play list, humor and enough variety to keep things interesting. I know this isn't really like playing a guitar, but I feel the rythm, find myself tapping my feet in time, smiling during t... Read Full Review

LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues
If you love the Lego themed games, this is a must buy as the best in the puzzle, adventure series of Lego brand so far.
I have loved Legos since I was a kid back in the 70s and continue to love Legos on Xbox 360 as a big kid at heart. I love the humor, the coop play with my daughter and girl friend and the sense of fun these games bring.... Read Full Review
