So did Slate make the Booker/Comstock connection or what? If he could remember Booker from Wounded Knee, but existed in Comstock's reality, what exactly did he think was going on?!

Anyone got any theories they want to share on just what that thing really was?
I completed this first time on medium simply by focusing entirely on Lady Comstock for the first two battles, then on the hird battle hanging back and using the sniper rifle to target her/her minions.
The way Elizabeth speaks to him as he's dying, inches away but completely unable to touch her, was incredible.
Presumably these belong to the privateers, so why the hell are they always deserted? I realise later on you can fast travel to them yourself, but it still seems pretty dumb.
After encountering Sam at the poker game, I decided to go off and liberate all the remaining outposts before meeting him to ask about Hoyt. As I was approaching the outposts I noticed that - rather than start shooting - the privateers were addressing me as a new recruit, despite the fact that I hadn't even started the doppelganger mission yet. As you can imagine, this made "sneaking" onto Hoyt's boat and obtaining the privateer outfit a doddle.
I'm not complaining, it didn't break the game and it was pretty funny, I was just wondering if anyone else had come across the same glitch?
To be fair, there's plenty of criticism aimed at the Patriots as well, particularly George Washington. It's just done in a much more subtle way.
Let's not let this sort of thing bug us too much anyway. Portraying us Brits as evil may be relatively new to gaming, but for decades now we've been Hollywood's go to evil-doers, and I think that's kinda cool.
And besides, it was a really long time ago and thus has no bearing on any of us (as individuals or nations) these days.
