@deadpeasant DD was an awesome game. but you cant deny that the game was incredibly sloppy and rushed. If they make a sequel, I am sure it will be a GOTY contender because capcom didt realize how good of a game they could have made until the reveiws started piling in. It was a pretty obvious cash grab game that did alot of things very well without capcom intending them to be as good as they turned out

And also, these high production costs are a VERY good thing for customers. It gives the top gaming industries significantly less power over others. And the high production costs that top titles will take to make, will leave very little in a companies budget to produce half assed games for cash ins. So basically all companies have a fair chance because they will all be focusing on their best GAME not GAMES. so the selection for these new consoles will be considerably less but much more rewarding. Hell this may even weed out the stupid trademark games (like movie games)

@foxfacer2d2 yes but it will also force companies to stop with the BS cash-in titles and focus on one game at a time. which will mean a much smaller but much more rewarding selection of games.

With these new consoles coming out, i will be VERY skeptical on what games i buy due to what the price tags will be. There is absolutely NO room for cash-in steals from companies. just throwing that out there

I'm expecting next gen consoles around June 2014. To many big titles being worked on for the current consoles to expect a next gen by the 2013 holidays
