I am sure all of you have heard of the deep freeze we have all had here in the upper midwest now coming to a close. Last night was the worst hitting a low of -42 F in some places close to me. And that wasn't even a record low! If your interested here is a video of La Crosse WI, overlooked on top of the bluff today showing how cold it was :P With not much to do besides playing some games, taking care of my sick 3 year old and do some surfing on the net, I found an ad on craigslist for two free SNES games about 5 minutes from me.
NBA Live '95 and Empire Strikes Back - SNES - both cart only
Knowing I wouldn't play either of these, I stopped at Gaming Generations, sorry CodingGenius went without you :) and picked traded them for credit towards two games on my wishlist.
Super Adventure Island - Cart only
Double Dribble - Cart only
Both cool little picks ups and who can beat games that didn't cost much of anything.
Yesterday was the 15th right? Some of you might remember what came out yesterday if you pre-ordered a certain game....
Resistance: Retribution demo was released for download on the PSP late yesterday afternoon and I am loving it. Now I haven't played the first two on PS3, due to the lack of owning a PS3, but hopped right into the action on here. I will try to even review the demo if I do get a chance but the graphics push the PSP to the limits I would have to say. Music is good and the controls are a little strange if you aren't used to shooters on the PSP. You control where your looking with the right buttons and shoot with the R1 and move with the analogue stick. It targets automatically for you which is nice as it would be difficult otherwise. Anyways back to some more Suikoden where I am hoping to maybe finish it this weekend or next week depending on the time I get stuck into it.
Have a nice weekend and Go Ravens(for you Warbuff) and Cards!
