@GamerForca: i was going to recommend Malazan but i was beat to it. Amazing series that I honestly have enjoyed better than anything I've read in the epic fantasy genre. That includes GRRM, though his work is right up there.

I don't think it's crazy to assume that IF we did recover alien technology in the 40s, the study and eventual cracking of that technology could lead to a massive explosion of computer advancement. However, I think it's more likely we discovered computer technology for ourselves and simply have gotten more and more efficient over time.

No. It does not. However, I'm speaking of conservative Christians who hold the traditional view of marriage and simply don't believe God blesses a marriage between the same sex. That view does not make you a bad person unless you want to call all orthodox Christians bad people.... However there are bad people who go out of their way to spout bigotry and hate towards people because they are gay, but I don't make the mistake of lumping them all together as bigots.

The political bias on both sides of the argument is ridiculous. A leftist Democrat can just as easily say this possibly unprecedented winter drought we're experiencing in California is another sign of the degenerating state of our climate. The debate isn't whether or not it's a hoax. Watch the Weather reports. Things have been strange for a number of years now and the climate is changing. The debate is whether WE are the cause and driving factor.

Personally I'm on the fence since we are still technically coming out of an Ice age. However, the entire industrial world dumping this much Co2 into the atmosphere can't be helpful can it? I'm not a scientist so I can't say. Although, I'm also not Rush Limbaugh so I can't say scientists the world over are involved in a leftist conspiracy to promote green energy and help Al Gore get richer. I can only say my personal experience from my local weather, and what I see across the country which is that the climate is definitely changing. Breaking records every single year is not normal is it?

Already got two threads around for this, but **** it. The album is amazing. I've listened to it constantly, and will be buying the deluxe tomorrow. Almost every track is a classic Em track.

What's funny is I think Relapse was actually one of his best albums, but severely hindered by his annoying experimentation with accents. Plus he almost went overboard with the shock lyrics on that album. To the point where it seemed like he was trying way to hard to be offensive.

I respect your opinion, but certainly you can't think it's worse than the last 3 albums he did? This album is on par technically and lyrically with any of his classics.

I checked it out and the OT forum looked like a juvenile douchefest... Not that this forum was the height of intelligent discussion. I'll give it another shot though. At least people talk there lol.

This site seems like quite the ghost town since the update... Can anyone suggest a good forum site for off topic discussions that people are actually on? Might just start trying the competitor game sites.
