Most of the great OG's like Champ,Ty,Chaz,Arach,Bluehazy,Aljosa,Tagy,etc either barely post or completely left the site after the redisign or soon after,those days were pretty fun to hang around here.
It appears that those publishers are just looking to increase their profits, as the console market seems growing more steadily than the PC gaming market. According to Newzoo:
Despite ongoing supply chain constraints, console games will generate $58.6 billion in 2022, growing +8.4% year on year.
PC game revenues will grow slightly slower than console but will still show a +1.9% increase to $41.0 billion in 2022.
While that's true that's still a single platform vs the whole console market,wich is kind of impressive for a platform that was "dead" some years ago and now is the biggest single platform revenue wise as far as the core gaming market is concerned.
Too bad Bayonetta 2 won't ever come to the PC since that's basically a Nintendo game.

Only if Nintendo funds it again. Bayonetta 2 was funded almost solely by Nintendo but Platinum still owns the IP.
Nope, SEGA does, otherwise they would never have been credited in Bayo 2. And even then, they'll do f*** all with it now and focus on their hedgehog, no matter how bad his games are.
They´ll focus on the hedgehog because it makes them a lot of money,unlike most of the bets they made on other new ips over the last few years.
Spot on,aside from Sonic,only the PC oriented franchises make a ton of money for sega(FM,Total War,etc),no wonder they are sceptic about bringing some other console oriented franchises back,especially the ones that,even though were generally critically acclaimed ended up selling way below expectations.
