[QUOTE="nintendo_fan675"]Since tomorrows Tuesday it might come on ship date :?Haziqonfire

yeah. just called my local EBGAMES (Canada) said they are getting it 24th. Walmart might get it because they got strikers july 31st, the "Shipping" day.

Tried my local Wal-Mart yesterday at 1:30 PM and 11:00 PM. . .nothing. Not even a label on an empty slot. I'll still try again today, but my hopes are low. If it comes in at all, it may show next Tuesday.

Wow. . .so much baseless complaining. . .but maybe it's just me. I interpreted the control issues detailed in the Sonic and SSX reviews as indicative not of being "hard," but as being either unnecessary (whether from a standpoint of complexity or immersion) or poorly implemented thanks to oversights in game design.

Wii Sports and Warioware have each set high standards for the implementation of the Wii's input system. People know what the remote can do, have expectations of what they should do in certain titles, and developers indeed have the proper resources with which to work to meet those expectations. Given all of that, for two big developers to falter a bit (even a "tiny" one) in this area is quite noticeable and more than valid for criticism.

Concerning Gamespot: Given how late after a release Gamespot releases a review, I'd wager they actually give titles far, far more time than other sites. And I don't understand how anyone honestly believes the staff "lowers scores for being hard." Seriously, take a gander at reviews for Viewtiful Joe, Ikaruga, Megaman Zero, Ninja Gaiden (X-Box), etc. . .Yeah, Gamespot hates hard. . .

Different strokes for different folks. . .

I know I'm not Link, and he's not me, but that doesn't stop my mind or voice from rambling at the sight of the things he experiences in his titles. Granted, spoken dialog wouldn't stop me either, but any commentary on my part would then likely shift from "in the moment" to "spectator," from "That fiend!" to "He's angry now."

Ultimately, neither perspective carries more worth than the other if the game's design or narritive maximizes their respective strengths. But one of those two certainly makes Hyrule and its legends all the more enchanting. . .

. . .for me, anyway.
