what could they possibly change that'll upset so many people? Besides the fact that they want Masterchief to be Master Grief? If Halo 4 has any significant change worth noting, I will eat a cheeseburger and film it for gamespot(cookie for anyone that gets that)
bungie.net was always full of whining bast%rds anyway. they have just migrated. That's what I learned from being in bungie's forum for about 2 months. While people complain to a degree there, it sure as hell beats the insanity that is the Bioware Forums...geez that place is pretty grim :S

probably because most games then were pretty solid! Not to say they were perfect by any means, but the gameplay held up decently, so peoples expectations for making it look good were pretty high!
Why not now?
Well most games today tend to worry too much on how it looks rather than how it plays.....it's a pretty annoying occurance this generation
Is anyone emotionally captured by this game yet? I've come across about 5 different scenarios where I think Bioware wants me to feel a certain way, but couldn't help but shrug it off or not have the necessary emotion.:|

Did you even see the RPG features in ME3, they're more complex than the ones in both games before it...
oh what you can put a barrel gun? big whoop. mass effect1 had an upgrade system that will probably be more deep than any ME game after it. This game willl have multiplayer that will be terrible on comparisons to games that actually cater to online play, rather than just tacked on bioware gun fights. bleh...I need to change my icon. I despise bioware.
I own BF2, my brother-in-law owns 1942 and played it, and I've played every version of Bad Company 2. The differences are minimal in the grand scheme of things. From what people are saying, BF3 is like BC2 with a little MoH mixed in, so I don't see what you're getting at.

So what has changed in COD since COD4 in the "grand scheme of things"?
This can be said for many games to be fair But in this case, the improvements in the battlefield games are vast in change: for example, shooting holes in walls turns into COLLAPSING BUILDINGS! What has COD managed to change to their games? different perks in different slots? dual..shotguns? COD has a very solid online, but in the end paying 60$ for the same thing annually doesn't make sense to me. I don't play any battlefield game the same way I do in MW.
