You had to tag me, didn't ya?

Thanks C-Himura

Herro, I'm KS. Some people describe me as eccentric, and rightly so, lets look at 5 reasons why:

1. Samaji Mamimi from FLCL is my favorite character of all time. This may sound kinda normal to have a favorite anime character and all, but she's a lot more than that, she's also my super-secret (not so much anymore) fantasy. Needless to say I will be a very happy person when I find a chick that will willingly cosplay as her while we... well yeah you get the idea. Her personality kicks ass really, she was emo before emo was popular, and this relates to...

2. I truly emo/scene girls are damn hot. I'm actually considering moving to Australia where there's more scene/emo girls. Seriously how could you NOT get your jollies from chicks like this?

3. I like metal, and especially Slayer, maybe not as much as this guy...

4. I wear modified dual-layer black/white chuck taylors. This way I conform, yet NOT conform simultaneously. I know it's kickass.

5. I like indie/punk/pop bands, but ONLY if their lead singer is a chick. Avril Lavign doesn't count because she's horrible. The above bands are Paramore, Flyleaf, and the J-Pop band A Brilliant Green.

Some extra info on your favorite interweb-ninja:

-My favorite colors are Black and Blood Red.

-I like Cheesepie

-My real name literally means 1 in some obscure language

-I am a hardcore student

I tag any user with a vowel in their username because I can't find anyone who hasn't done it yet. Oh yeah I also tag Jesus and Clint Eastwood, and DeathofaNinja. Good luck dudes.

I need a ****ing job

It's been a hell of a long time since my last post, because frankly, I don't care too much about blogging. But this, THIS is a special occasion, because we are on the brink of Ninja Gaiden 2's release, the single most hardcore/ninjafabulous/kickass game to exist since it's predecessor. IF you don't you don't share my sentiment... I genuinly doubt your intelligence, you should read more, I suggest Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? By Phillip K. Dick, it's a brilliant piece of work and perhaps after you read it you will regain enough gray matter for you to fully appreciate Ninja Gaiden 2. Now all I need is some employment so I can score this game...

Orca whales aren't actually whales, they're actually very large dolphins.

Now, are you by any chance interested in music about mutilation, murder, fantizised rape, blasphemy, satan worship, grotesque sexual escipades, fecal foreplay? Probably not, but if you are, you should totally blast some Necro. If you already know of him, props to you, but if you don't...no his music isn't metal, it's rap. He takes womanizing and morbid themes to another level.

You can't spell assassin without spelling ass, twice

Anyhoo, here's some Angel Button (not nekkid):

Death Note and Death Note 2

Starting on the 13th of July (not only Friday the thirteenth, but also my B-day... ) was the New Zealand film festival. The whole thing lasted about 22 days. Needless to say, I was pissed I didn't get a chance to see any movies in the festival, of course there was with the exception of ...

Death Note Movie

And then followed immediately by

Death Note Movie (part two)

Yup, it was a double feature on the last day of the film festival, 4 hours total.

Showing up fifteen minutes before the movie started proved to be quite entertaining. I usually don't see many anime fans around my area, so it was interesting to see a large mass of otaku outside the entrance. Who knew that cosplaying at movie theaters was so common? There were at least five L cosplayers among the audience, and during the movie, one guyeven went so far as to sit 'L style' during the whole thing

SPOILERS START HERE-----------------------------------SCROLL DOWN FOR NON SPOILER DESCRIPTION!

I'm not gonna outline the whole plot because most people should be aquainted with the DN storyline, but I will describe some of the differences between the movie and the anime.

At the beginning of the film we don't have time to get aquainted with Light fully, (keep in mind that nearly all of the DN story is contained within four hours) so it just skips straight to him with the DN, writing down some names. This film doesn't emphasis that Light is a genius, and he isn't the highest marked student in Japan like in the anime.

Light has a girlfriend at the start now, but he later sacrifices her in order to kill that girl (the one engaged to the guy that was following Light). He shows little remorse.

Alright I'm gonna skip to the biggest spoiler of all, this one came as a huge surprise to me because It's totally different to what happened in the anime. Ok, so in the Anime, Light finally blackmails Rem into killing L. Here's the twist in the movie, beforhand, L writes down his own name in the DN and specifies for himself to die 23 days later, this way, he can't die when Rem writes his name in the book because he's already gonna die! HA! I could tell who all the DN fans were in the audience because they were all like WTF??!!

Anyways Light is unaware of this and assumes L is dead. There is a cliche standown between Light and Misa Misa and Light's father. Light is about to kill his father when the police corner and he appeals to Ryuk for help

'Kill them for me, don't you want to have more fun! DO IT! WRITE A NAME DOWN!!'

Ryuk- 'Heh heh, ok Lighto...'

Light- :)

Ryuk- *shows Light DN and name written in it*

Light- 'AHHH SH-....GASP!.....' *dies*

Well, it went something like that, I totally didn't see that coming!

SPOILERS END HERE -------------------------

By the end of the movie everyone was pretty psyched, but also had numb a$$ess from sitting down for 4 hours :? The friends that I went with to see thefilm had never evenheard of DN before, but they seemed really impressed with it's totally unpredictable plot. Apparently when released in Japan, this film was at the top of the charts for 5 weeks, and I can see why.

Anyways, anyone that's a fan of Death Note, or even people that are getting bored with the plot in most movies nowadays should definitely see it at some point.

(Oh yeah and Misa Misa was HAWT , especially in that bondage scene!)

Currently listening to - The opening track of Ichigo 100%

Watching -Ichigo 100%

Playing - I've recently revisited DMC3 in anticipation of it's sequel. I'm also gonna buy the Japanese equivalent of Elite Beat Agents :P

Looks like there's no news on Ninja Gaiden 2 yet, :x

Peace

Hanzo rocks

I just learned a new technique and I'm quite happy with these Hanzo outcomes. Although, I still have a ways to go. Adding text that doesn't ruin the sig is probably the hardest part so I just left it blank.

About two monthes ago I took a break from my Ninja Gaiden Master Ninja karma run and it's only just now that I've gotten around to continuing it. So far I'm at the Aquaducts (just after the military base) and have about 8mil karma, which means I'm doing alright. Getting all the time bonuses in the military base was fairly difficult, but the hardest part came at the end. After the tanks and after the helicopter, there is a large control tower that you have to destroy by targeting the individual gas tanks stations on it (I think there's nine in total). As soon as you kill the soldiers close to you on ground level right infront of the tower, a rocket launcher-soldier appears next to each gas tank.

To get the time bonus (10000 karma) I had to kill all the RL soldiers within the time limit. Most people who play this mission only bother to destroy the gas tanks, simultaneously killing all the RL soldiers. However this doesn't grant the time limit and I was forced to kill them all with explosive arrows. I would of never thought I would of needed that kind of FPS skill in Ninja Gaiden -_-" Needless to say I was VERY happy when I finally beat it within the limit. By the end of the mission it turns out I finished the chapter with less than a minute to spare (the time limit was 30 minutes) if I was a minute slower I wouldn't of recieved the time bonus (100000 karma) and I would of had to start the chapter all over again! Phew!

Anyways I'm very anxious for Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword. The screens may make it look like a port from the xbox version, but the gameplay is very different, from the videos it appeares to make very good use of the touch screen.

Bested by my sister

*Sigh* practice exams are over and I have a lot of time to kill. Other than watching Anime and getting that 18 million on NGB, writing a blog seems like the most appealing thing to do now. Since this is my first entry, I'll start with something relevant.

Elite Beat Agents (EBA), other then DMC3 it's probably the most intense game I have ever played. When I first caught a glimpse of it I thought it would just be lame DDR rip, but this game is in a league of it's own. What really makes it stand out is it's ability to stay outrageously difficult and frustrating and still manage to bring you back to play it time and time again (not to mention the song choice ranging from Skater Boi to Survivor!). You get utterly destroyed but you are rarely discouraged to actually play the game. Now to relate to the topic; Since I'm such a gracious person I often allow my 11yr old sister to play my DS+XB+PS2 and soon to be my 360. Previously I used to mock her for her bad rythme and low (B-Rank) scores on EBA, but this past week she has not only gained consistent S (the highest) ranks on all of the songs on the default difficulty, but she has unlocked the hardest difficulty 'HARD ROCK' and beaten it with a majority of S ranks! I tried the 'Hard Rock' difficulty yesterday... lets just say putting down the DS and going to play Ninja Gaiden Black on Master Ninja difficulty was a welcome break. This wouldn't be the first time however, if it wasn't for her insane Volley Ball skills in DOAX, I would of never accumulated enough money and swimsuits to gain a full collection.

One of the more intense songs I'm currently listening to is the 2nd Death Note opening 'What's up People?' by Maximum the Hormone. I wouldn't of guessed it, but a metal OP certainly suits DN more than the first OP 'The World' by Nightmare. The brutal guitar riff and somewhat sadistic lyrics really do bring out *very minor spoiler warning*                   Light's further decay into pure evil.

Other than that, the 'Deftones' have recently made their way into my IPod. To be honest I have no idea how I've gone my whole life without even hearing about this band. Simply incredible. I was looking for some good alternative metal other than Tool to listen to, and purely out of luck I saw a Deftones video called 'Back to School' on my local alternative music channel (It's called Alt TV, an effective 'Anti-MTV). It turns out that the song 'Back to School' was actually hated by the Deftones. Lead singer Jonah Matranga, claimed he and the band re-recorded the song because their label said the band "ran out of markatable singles". Matranga wrote the song with the intention to show their label how simplistic and mindless it is to make a hit single. Ironically it was this song that really persuaded me to get into the band, but now after hearing some 20+ more Deftones songs,  I can see exactly why they hated it, not because 'Back to School' is a bad song, but because all their other songs are vastly superior. I enjoyed every other song I listened to more than 'Back to School', and I liked that song a lot. Anyways those looking for something new, innovative and deep to listen to, at least have a look at the Deftones.

And yes, I will make an awesome banner in the near future >_>
