Heaven from the perspective of my father.

My father went through a dramatic change in 2006. He became a Christian. I'll admit that at first I wasn't too thrilled.

Recently, my father heard from the inner circle of top preachers and televangeliststhat when we (my family)get to Heaven, it'll be one big party and our bodies will be free of any imperfections or defects.

I doubt that Heaven will have the largest shopping mall in the universe, I doubt that there would even be a Gamestop, FYE, Hot Topic, Sanrio giftshop or a sushi restaurant beyond the pearly gates. I even have my doubts that my pets will be there when I arrive. (I believe that animals deserve Heaven, because in a way, we can act like animals ourselves)

My idea of a party is shopping, playing video games, watching JapaneseTV shows and movies on DVDs, listening to European dance music, eating sushi and other Japanese foods and of course playing with dolls (I'm a girl who has been given the ultimatum: "Don't grow up" even though I'm in my 20's as of now.)

I believe that I'll get into Heaven regardless of my checkered past. I have been doing fine under my parents' supervision. My father believes that I'll be assigned a job in Heaven. The job? Sorting all the odds and ends on Earth into books. (BTW, although my father was raised Catholic, saints are strictly a Catholic thing. So, no, I don't even know if St. Peter will be there to let me in.) I have no clue who will be greeting us and welcoming us to "the neighborhood".

I'm doing fine, I'm not going to die soon. I ponder such heavy thoughts when I feel like I did something wrong.
