Sure blame video games. We wouldn't want to spend any time looking at the fact your father introduced you to guns and hunting at an early age, or the fact a gun was just in the other room waiting to be used.
@cagedwolf Yeah? I would like to see some symbolic money deposited in my account. These over-paid executives have probably gotten plenty of bonuses during the last several years of Sony's pain. How many workers did they lay-off in the last few years?
I hear you. Don't forget they are trying to tell us they need another game price increase because it is so much more technical to develop games for the new platforms. Just another lie.
Isn't this the same nonsense we read about PS3? Now we are supposed to believe the PS3 is a dog, and the PS4 will set the trend for PC's in the years to come. I doubt it.
Yes the PS4 will be more powerful than 2 year old systems still running. However, modern Intel i7 systems with advanced graphics cards will easily outpace the PS4. Many AMD systems will also be more powerful than the consoles. For a short time the Xbox 360 and PS3 had advanced features not present in PC's, but within months multi-core CPU's and advanced GPU's allowed the PC to pull ahead. I doubt very much the PS4 or the 720 will have top of the line CPU/GPU performance. This doesn't mean they will not be great, but they will not crunch the numbers like an advanced PC. Of course to get top of the line PC gaming performance you will pay dearly. You can invest in all the consoles and still only meet the basic cost of a powerful gaming PC. Frankly anyone willing to spend thousands of dollars for a gaming PC is a fool. Anyone that is hung up on how many frames per second can be displayed is a sucker waiting to be fleeced. Even now the 360 and PS3 can still deliver good games with excellent imagery. Graphics do not make the game. For example Minecraft is a huge hit, but I don't think the graphics are advanced. On the other hand Bioshock Infinite pushes the consoles to the point of stumbling according to the reviewers. The designers comment is true, but self serving because he doesn't count the large number of PC's that are superior to consoles.
I think it says a lot about the politicians that are ready to lockdown video games, but they are more than willing to allow unrestricted access to weapons.
I am not saying I want them to fail. I am saying there is real possibility. They have lost billions much related to PS3 and cell, and Sony stock is 20% the value of its past. Sony is not going to make its own televisions anymore because they can't compete. None of these things should make a Sony fan feel confident.
You see fanboys like you are the reason I have to comment. You can't possibly just acknowledge Xbox 360's success so you must insult the intelligence of anyone who disagrees with you. Wii is great and it does win in numbers. Playstation fans though just can't accept the fact that they are no longer top dog. I am here in the USA so I couldn't care less if PS3 wins the rest of the world because it has no effect on my gaming experience. I am still not a kid. I just don't like Sony fanboys insulting me. You get what you give.
