This is an odd review, to see a game praised so much but find a 6 at the end of it all is rather jarring, I understand a the online multiplayer was a really important component, which would dictate a lot of purchases but giving it a 6 for one single broken component seems rather harsh. Many of us will be playing this for the thrill of the campaign anyway and are willing to wait for the matchmaking issues to be fixed.

@masongears123 @jediapprentice Just because I'm not a massive motor head doesn't mean i should not play a racing game. I know next to nothing about cars but still enjoyed games like Dirt, Grid and NfS: most wanted. Its pretty clear this kind of genre is a bit stale at the moment and nothing new has happened with it since maybe the last Forza game. And btw games should never just barred off from someone just because they are a certain type of person, that is one idiotic way to think.

I'm all for more MP, dare I say I'm even happy for it to maybe bleed a little bit more into the single player mode if it wants to, and screw all those complaining about how much dev resources it consumes instead of creating a solid MP experience, as if anyone here who doesn't work at bioware knows how much is put into what and how much resources things are taking, that is not our place to say. Bioware is a massive and trusted developer I'm they can handle thier own resources without a bunch of bitter fan boys having to lecture them on it.

@55584623 They needed to make new exclusive franchises. Mario, zelda and other seasonal releases are almost the same games even on newer consoles they all followed an identical pattern and only a small portion of those games was something new, I've never been big fan of nintendo because of this but when I first saw release titles and they showed off the console for the first time at exspos I was really hoping that they might have changed their game plan a bit and maybe I could get int the nintendo crowd with some new games they might make, but the system came out and it was all so…shallow and well gimmicky.

@hochstreck yeah you're so right it IS everyone else's fault that the wiiu is failing. Not its crappy library of games or its useless gimmicky controller or the fact that its barely an improvement over the original wii as a console.

@presauk @Metalnoid no, I really don't in all honesty, I felt a bit more excited once I watched some of the point vids then I was before but just by looking at that list, it doesn't thrill me with excitement compared to the last few console releases. It could be down to me being older but I'm not entirely sure.

@vackillers why would you be naive to expect an immersive experience? Thats why people play games, thats what makes a game stand out from another, especially as its a next gen game I think most people will be expecting something new and immersive, yeah the graphics are great but I think you can't blame anyone for expecting more than what it offers, considering other games on older consoles offer a better and more immersive experience.

@stryker1121 Am I wrong in thinking that games like zelda, Mario, Pokemon and COD have been creating games even mor so repetitive than this for the better part of a decade now.

I remember being ridiculously excited about AC, I watched its trailer over and over, obviously I hyped it up way too much for myself so it fell short of what I expected but I still found it to be one of the best games that came out that year, 2 came out and again I was stunned at how well polished, detailed and its progression of gameplay came from it. AC 3 came out and I was pretty disappointed, its gameplay was still well done and entertaining but had less polish in its detail and obviously those glitches didn't help but the only actual progression that came from 3 was its, hunting, stealth (when the AI wasn't playing up) and of course the ship battles but other than it fell short in almost every way compared to the second.
