For those of you looking at gunz, beware... I played gunz for a good 3 plus years, I started when it hit open beta. It's extremely complicated since majority of the moves (not talked about in description) are done based off an air cancelation slash with your melee weapon. There is a LOT of skill in it, and that part of the game is amazing great when you get good (takes about a month just to learn all the stuff, a couple months to get over hand pains, yes it requires A LOT of button pressing very fast). However, the community is one of the worst. Since it's so much skill based, people (I should say kids) are extremely competitive and talk trash when ever they can, more than any other game (including CS). Prepare to hear arguments about who's more "pro" started just because somebody killed somebody else, even if they don't taunt or say anything.
I think age of conan should be on this list under psychological horror. See...all those people (including me) thought they were getting a good game...then the true horror began...
Being a heavily pvp based game, the cannot afford to make next gen graphics because the amount of people who have systems that can support a lot of players on screen and high end graphics is very minimal. It's hard to make profits when your game is only playable by people who spend their life making sure their computer is the best. The graphics aren't bad. Hell, you can see their muscle definitions, the armor isn't just a retexture like a lot of wow's armor. You can tell what you're looking at. Why care if it's any better? Graphics don't make the game. Too many of you kids play games for their graphics, which is why crysis is rated so highly. That wasn't a GOOD game, it was an alright game with amazing graphics. If the graphics were high end most of the people talking about the graphics looking terrible would be complaining about how it's too demanding.
Oh. My. God. NEW NPC MODELS!?????@@? HOLY SHTTT! That's crazy. It's still going downhill. Perhaps the expansion will revive wow...hopefully not ruin it faster like BC did.
