I wanna get a Castlevania game!

For some peculiar reason, the upcoming release of Castlevania - Lords of Shadow has got me a wee excited, and I've never played a flippin' Castlevania game. Ever!

So just thought I'd ask anyone out there which of the DS titles I should get. I know there are three (to my knowledge) and they've all been pretty well recieved, so is there a newbie-friendly game that could introduce me without killing any brain cells?

A BLOG! (If you read there's free cake!)

Because no one follows me on Gamespot 'ny more (at least I think) I thought I'd right this blog! How exciting!

I must admit that I've been very inactive in the past year, mainly because the friends I had on here aren't active anymore either. But after all this time I decided to post something on here to announce that I'm back and better than ever! That's something I must admit won't be too hard.

I can't take this anymore!

Just over a year ago my Xbox 360 packed up. The Red Ring of Death. Turns out that I could get it fixed for free by Microsoft through the guarantee that was yet to expire, but now I'm not as fortunate..

The second time this has happened, today(well a couple of days ago but kept it going through the towel method), and just when I had some disposable cash to try out Wolfenstein and possibly the new Batman title aswell!

Ah well, looks like I'll have to be a bit maverick and sort the problem out myself. In with the thermal paste and rubber washers. God Dammit!

GCSE D-Day!

Alas the arrival of my dreaded GCSE results. Not bad ones, though..

I can now look back on the past five years with dignity at least, as I left my secondary school with a solid set of results - 1A*, 7A's and 2B's!

Shadow Complex - XBLA Review

As an action title Shadow Complex is a very enoyable and interesting Arcade title. It comes with a good level of exploration and rewarding upgrades but is bogged down by a tedium of enemies and environment.

Battlefront III continuing development?

I don't actually know much about the situation with Star Wars; Battlefront III, but I do know in January then-developers Free Radical went into administration, but have Lucas Arts found a replacement rather than postponing the project?

In an interview with one of the former Free Radical employees with IGN, they stated "It's dead. The stuff in the video of going from the ground to air to space to orbit is the tech that is dying with us", that will probably mean that it will have to built from the foundations you'd imagine. Not good news, I loved Battlefront I and II and a next-gen Battlefront III would be incredible.

If anyone knows anything about the game's development, please reply!

Halo Wars - Xbox 360 Review

I found Halo Wars quite ironic when put against its well-recieved background. Because, to be honest, I didn't enjoy Halo 3 that much and have not had the privilege to play the earlier titles but found Ensemble Studios RTS rendition an absolute treat to play. With a solid campaign and even better multiplayer, I feel that it really does define how an RTS title should play on the console systems.
