@Rushaoz: Two things. First off, make sure you use the controller mods uploaded by Dybukk. Secondly, sniper rifles have ALWAYS been wonky in the original Mass Effect. You can't hold your breath while scoping in, that simply doesn't exist in ME1. The only way to get sniper rifles that don't sway like you're in a hurricane is to get high tier snipers and attach high tier mods AND play a class that has weapons training with Sniper Rifles (i.e. has the skill tree); either by playing a Soldier, Engineer or a second playthrough which allows an extra weapon specialization. This is why ME2 is often lauded as the best in the series, the actual gunplay in ME1 was sub-par even in it's time.
This is at least true for the PC and 360 releases of ME1. I am currently playing ME1 on PC with that controller mod so I can double check this, but I played ME1 back on release on 360 and the sniper rifles were the main complaint I heard from my friends who were all playing Halo 3/CoD4 at the time.
@SolidTy: How have I never seen you before? I've been here since the cheat code printing days. Only one I remember from back then is Gelugaan_bat, or whatever her/his/its name is.
Anyone who buys a Steam Machine as an entry to PC gaming won't know how to install Windows on it. Also mainstream games (GTAV, MGSV, Fallout 4, Skyrim, Ultra Street Fighter IV, basically major Multi-platform releases) don't support SteamOS/Linux or have no ETA on when they'll support it.
All I see for SteamOS + Linux are a ton of Indie games, Valve, 2K (Borderlands 2 and XCOM:EU), and Shadow of Mordor.
It's gonna be real funny when GTA V finally gets it's PC release and ENB profiles and other mods start pouring in, to the dismay of console owners. Glad I got both :D
