My Likes and Dislikes of February 2010.

Likes: Leveling up new Pokemon for HeartGold and SoulSilver; Lobster Sushi; That I have no girlfriend during Valentine's day (More chocolates for me!); The new Super Mario Galaxy 2 trailer; Finally being able to play Uncharted 2 (truth is I had it since Christmas, but I wanted to play Drake's Fortune first); My sister's natural immunity to the Twilight fad along withthe Jones Brothers.

Dislikes: Activision's peripheral/Guitar Hero obsession; Everyone thinking that Sonic 4 is going to bring the Blue Blur back on his feet (Not going to start a boycott a la L4D2, but they'll let you all down with some stupid gimmick as usual; just give it time); Car breaking down; The PS3's broken backwards-compatibility feature(I have to spend $50 on a PS2 if I want to play Odin Sphere?! Seriously!?!)

Valentine's Day Denied Vol. 2

Remember back in 2009 when GameSpot made the feature Valentine's Day Denied? Well in case you don't know, in said feature GameSpot comforted those who got dumped, and healed the hearts of the love-sick via showing us video gaming moments where characters got denied much worse than anyone of us; it showed us that they had it much worse than anyone of us thus proving that it isn't all bad. Despite its popularity though, Gamespot didn't make anything like that last year, so I'm going to make a Volume 2 made out of your favorite "denied" moments in gaming (post them in my forum titled Valentine's Day Denied Vol. 2). With so many scenes filled with the bitter destruction of love that Gamespot left out, it can't be too hard to think of any other"denied" moments. SO GET BUSY!!!!

Likes and Dislikes of Jan. 2009

Likes: Getting a PS3; The many ideas I have for Little Big Planet levels (ideas include a vertical tower filled with puzzles and a giant swimming pool where you get sucked up by the filtration system!); ACB allowing AVP to go on store shelves; (there is hope for humanity after all! :D); Finally getting Final Fantasy 7; James Cameron's Avatar (never thought it would live up to all the hype).

Dislikes: That everyone including you is going to think that I'm an emo-tween fan-boy for simply buying Final Fantasy 7; Most ring-tones; PS3 updates (they are so long that I literally took a shower waiting for one to finish! )

How the About Me section is going to work...

Some of you may have noticed that at least a month ago, my likes and dislikes have changed in the About me section. What I'm trying to do is to show you my likes and dislikes of the month like when I get a new game, or when a show I like gets cancelled. But now I've decided to post those on my blog from now on to make it easier to read. So here are my likes and dislikes from the last 2 months, I'll post January's edition sometime soon.

But I say better late than never, when it comes to wishing for a happy holiday to all of you. Enjoy the rest of the year while I'll enjoy the Thanksgiving leftovers! It is safe to say we are all thankful for that!:D

Looking back on Wii Music

It's amazing I tell ya. It has already been a year since the U.S. release of the infamous Wii Music. The game that rallied fan boys everywhere, and started the cold war between hard core and causal gamers.Time had definitely flew by but maybe the reason why it did was because of our focused hatred for the game. I guess we all lost track of time while we were writing hate mail to Nintendo for making it thier "big game of the year that even you hardcore gamers that supported us for years (20 max.) will love!" at last year's E3.Looking back after a year,I think our perspectives of the game changed.

To be fair, I havn't even played the game since I thought buying/renting it will just encourage Nintendo to make more games like it and embarrass thier fans even more. But now alot of my friends are now giving it a try, and they liked it for it's family friendly flare. Maybe that's why Nintendo is prosperous with thier Wii console. Despite all of it's problems, people bought it for thier kids/family members,so that the whole family can have a fun experience. Nintendo probably thought that thier long-time fans would buy a 36o or PS3 along side with thier Wii which wouldn't make a difference.I just we all felt a little burnt looking at our childhood memories appearing to turn away from us, but in the end we are not forgotten considering they showed many great games for us this year's E3.

Personally, I give Nintendo a little pat on the back for expanding the industry with those types of games, but honestly they should have never targeted the game to us long-time fans who felt tossed aside by it's big time showing at E3. That alone could've changed Wii Music from a world-wide bashed game, to something that we could all just ignore like the other causal games.
