that is a shame to hear. so basically they took out the character development aspect out of the game so everyone would be on an "even" playing field. thats a load. i personally feel that if a person makes a character for the sole purpose to pvp, go for it. it promotes new builds. remember there was only an X amount of attribute points and u cant max out all of it without being weak somewhere else especially if the lvl is capped at 60 vs 99(ish)

in the beginnning i was super stoked about the game ever since it was announced it was in the works. now that footages of the game has been released and covered by a lot of commentators, it has me starting to doubt the game as a whole. cant say much since it is a beta but so far, i cant say i like the mechanics of the game when it comes to character development. having in-game physics and a graphics upgrade is nice but as i see it now, wheres the attribute points and skill points to spend at the time of a lvl up? it seems leveling up just unlock hotkey slots and new skills. im pretty sure they'll incorrprate it in the future like the runestones to add diversity to the skills, shared loot n money, and everything they posted on their d3 site but as of now it has me wondering if d3 is gimped out to attract a newer/younger audience.

so yah i left my playstation eye stilled plugged in the ps3 after playing sports champions then switched over to some blackops. then it occurred to me, why dont they incorporate the ps3 eye and games played over the psn. it would be neat to have a recording of your expression when u frag someone in a mini portrait in the corner while the person watches it in their killcam. plus it can double as a mic. thoughts?

cod4 is still top dog in the series :P

munchlax99
yes i agree! hit detection needs to be improved, sub machine guns needs to be nerfed (they do as almost as much damage as full size assault rifles but with better mobility) and when you take out someone using a remote killstreak like rc-xd, shouldnt the rc like stop moving since the operator die?! common sense plox.

[QUOTE="face_ripper"]I've used an ak74, not in COD games. It's kick is pretty strong, hard to control if you hold the trigger for 10 rounds or more. I've also used an M9, I keep one of these at home as well as an SVD.

when you say holding the trigger for more than 10 rounds i assume you referring to full auto and no joke, muzzle rise will get you no matter the caliber. i too am looking into getting an m92fs because 45's are getting too expensive to shoot and 9mm would be a nice alternative since its half the size and pretty much half the price per box. you're probably not from the States because an actual SVD cost a lot to own and having a select fire weapon is highly regulated, unless you shot it at a range that rents it out and are class 3 holders.

Why would i own a gun?

Thread starter, why do you own guns ?

Lucianu
it started off as something i wanted to have when i was younger mainly because of FPS's hahah. but as i really got into guns, it sorta became a hobby. target shooting and clay shooting are fun to do especially on days off from work. home defense is also a factor too since my neighbor got his house broken into twice before he finally moved out. i make sure that the females in my home (all adults, im the youngest at 22) are somewhat trained in safely using my weapons when and if SHTF. im not advocating like go out and get a gun but for those who has em, feel free to post up yours and how you feel bout guns in video games. i guess you can say im an enthusiast and a collector similar to those who own and collect coins, cars, etc; but my hobby serves not only to keep me entertained, but to protect as well. you'll have more respect in the guns you see in games when you actually own them and have fired them. but to be brutally honest, i got them in case of the inevitable zombie apocalypse, foreign invasion, and/or the collapse of modern civilization. And being american, its my right to own it :]

just goes to show that if something is making money, you're gonna milk it until you cant profit off it anymore, then you release the same game under another prefix with minor changes, rinse, repeat.
