Crackdown, Halo? Crackdown, Halo? Nope, don't see it Microsoft. But apparently it happened. I see this as two things. One is to try and sell more copies of Crackdown, even by selling it to the people who do not wish to actually play Crackdown. And two, to make a lame way to get into the Halo 3 Beta. There could have been many other ways to get the Halo 3 Beta out there, not by demeaning ways like this. Why not make a huge Halo 2 Tournament or something rather, instead of putting a key into a $60 game that people will start to buy without proper reason to. Don't get me wrong, I have wanted Crackdown before this happened.
What else really caught my eye in disgust were random people on multiple Crackdown forums saying how they will buy Crackdown but only for the Halo 3 Beta and how they are spending $60 just to get into the beta. Even worse is pointing out what they think are the flaws of a yet to be released game, then saying they are only buying it for the beta. The game has yet to be played too people! You can't judge a game on how it looks and what you think! That's called being bias! People need to buy games if they will see themselves in the future enjoying it. Not because of some snazzy and random beta invite that just happened. And to you Microsoft, let this be the last that this will happen.
