Boy today was a pretty crazy day. Bungie earlier this week tweeted that they would be re-stocking their Bag O' Swags after most of them selling out the last time they were put on the store.

If you don't know what I'm talkin about let me explain. Bungie is having a 20 year anniversary extraviganza along with a goodbye to halo bash. To celebrate this they updated their store with some merchandise that would all go to charity. This includes shirts, posters, limited edition signed posted, original concept art (these were bidded on on E-bay) and also the almighty Bag O' Swag.

What is the Bag O' Swag you might ask? It's a bag that contains random, limited edition items that are stuffed into a bag that once full, will be around 4 pounds. The best thing of all.. there were only 777 made. So competition for these things was high. Due to me being a pretty big Halo fan I wanted one.. BAD. So once Bungie made the tweet about some being restocked with the exact date and time they would be, I prepared myself for an F5 Amazon spam fest to get my hands on one.

So today, at 9:30 PST and 11:30 Central (my timezone) I began my quest. My tools were:

1. F5
2. My Finger
3. Google Chrome Page Monitor
4. Some awesome Music

Once I started I didn't stop and I was right there F5ing with hundreds of other Bungie community people. In fact so many people were F5ing that we in a sense DDOS'd the Bungie Amazon Store to the point where it was unusable by Bungie and Amazon's support had to begin work on fixing it. Don't believe me? Once that occured I stopped for a bit and took a break. An hour later, with no tweet I figured that Bungie would sell them later. However that wasn't the case. Some un-known company named Gorrilla Screen Print actually had the Bag O' Swag listed on Amazon. Now me being cautious I decided not to jump on this because it wasn't Bungie official and it could have been a scam. Boy was I wrong.. about 15 minutes late Bungie actually took control of that Amazon page and the Bag O' Swag I thought was a scam was acually legit. However it was out of stock by the time I tried :(.

I was pretty ticked at the fact Bungie didn't notify their community of this. Though I decided to spam 1-click order a few times to see if I could possibly get lucky and boy I'm glad I did, because I was lucky! I ended up ordering a Bag O' Swag and I confirmed my order quickly! Rumors on Bungie.net was that Bungie cancelled anyones second, third, ect. order to make it so everyone had an equal shot at it. Everyone was only allowed 1.

So after about 2 hours of F5ing, 1 hour of waiting, and 15 minutes of being pissed on Bungie, I am now walking away with 1 of the 777 Bag O' Swag's from Bungie. It ended up costing me around $42.75, with all that money going to charity. I plan to post picture of what I get from the Bag O' Swag in the future (should arrive around July 14th-July 22nd).

Sony has officially launched their PSN welcome back package today for download. The games featured are for NA are:

1. Infamous
2. Little Big Planet
3. Super StarDust HD
4. Dead Nation
5. Wipeout HD

It is the same for EU except switch Super StarDust HD with Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty.

However possibly wait a bit because there are currently ALOT of errors and some people are losing some of their free games. If this happens go to Account Management->Transaction Management-> Services List and it should be there.

Anyways what games do you plan on getting?

I am going to go with Infamous and probably Dead Nation most likely. Never got a chance to actually really play Infamous and Dead Nation looks pretty cool.

So it seems like my 360 is about to take its last breath soon (or so it seems). While playing BFBC2 my 360 froze three times within an hour or so time span. This only means one thing..

THE RED RING OF DEATH!

Sigh.. I guess 2 years since my last break was too good to be true. What sucks this time around is that I am no longer in any sort of warrenty. So it's either a $100 fix or a $300 250GB slim purchase. Due to the fact that I am saving to build a PC sometime near the end of the summer I can't afford to pay $300 dollars so it looks as if I'm going to have to get gutted by Microsoft for $100 dollars or be left with a brick that heats. Atleast I have a PS3 so I can still do some gaming.

But I can say goodbye to $100. Down the drain it goes.

I am not going to lie, even though I was very interested in this game the moment I heard about it, I was unsure of how it would exactly turn out. Still, I trusted my instincts and bought this game today and hoped it would be everything I wanted it to be.. and it has been!

La Noire is an incredible game that really is a breath of fresh air in terms of moving past all of the action based games being released. I enjoy the thought it makes you put into each and every case (well not the beginning ones due to them being sort of intro cases). Accusing someone of something they didn't do could let vital information slip pass and ultimately make your case go on longer than should have been if you wouldn't have falsely accused the person. Same goes for believing the person. The game really keeps you thinking whether or not you asked the right question at the right time and the possible consequence for possibly messing it up.

It is a great, thrilling mystery type game that has, so far, seemed to be worth the $60 dollars I spent on it. I'm hoping that the game will keep getting better and better as the story progresses. While this game may not be for everyone, I think most people who have any slight interest in the game should check it out in the near future.

I hope to create a full review sometime in the future after I have completely beaten the game and its side missions.

Yep! Only a month away unless another delay occurs. It has been a long 15 years since Duke Nukem 3D hit shelves. Yet, after many delays Duke Nukem Forever will finally hit shelves across the world and many gamers will beable to finally experience the alien ass kicker we've known since the 90s for one last time (unless there is a sequal set for release in another 15 years :roll:).

I am beyond pumped for this game! June 14th can't come soon enough!

So I go to play my PS3 today, turn it on and seconds later it turns itself off. I tried again and the same thing happened with a flash of a yellow light. So yep my 4 month old 80GB model already got the YLOD.. my first 360 lasted longer. So now I lose all of my saved games and I guess I lose some of my trophies too. Honestly this really really sucks. Just to think I had 2 chapters left on Resident Evil 5 before I beat it.. now I have to restart the entire game again!!

Ugh.. now knowing my luck my 360 will break too!! Man things break way to easily now.

Now that I got the horrible news out of the way I recently picked up a few games: Protoype (360) and Burnout Paradise (360). Prototype so far is really really fun and am enjoying it a lot. Burnout Paradise is also extremely fun to play. I got the new island for it and let me tell you it has a lot of awesome jumps and stunt areas you can mess around in.

Now recently Activision released some prices for some of their upcoming games. DJ Hero will be priced at $120.. yea talk about overpriced lol. Band Hero (WTF?) will be priced at $200.. yea the same as a Arcade 360. MW2 CE will be priced at $80 so with that price it better be worth it.

Speaking of music games.. what is Activision doing? Are they trying to kill the Guitar Hero franchise? They are milking it to death this year. I mean this year alone we get:

1. Guitar Hero Metallica
2. Guitar Hero Smash Hits
3. Guitar Hero 5
4. Guitar Hero Van Halen
5. Band Hero
6. Some DS Guitar Hero Game
7. DJ Hero

Really who has the money to buy each one of those games? Guitar Hero Metallica, Smash Hits, and Van Halen won't even have any DLC so what you get is what you get! Activision please stop milking the Guitar Hero franchise to death and only release like 1 or maybe 2 a year please.

I have been meaning to re-borrow this game from a friend and beat it for quite some time now. So I finally did and I have mixed opinions on it.

The Story, atmosphere, and graphics of the game were all done great. The gameplay on the other hand become a HUGE grind fest after the first few assassinations. The fighting got extremely annoying after awhile considering every fight felt the same throughout the entire game. The enemys didn't get much harder as the game went on, but the amount of enemys you fought in a group got bigger. You know the first time you take on 15 enemys at once may be cool, but after you do it for the 20th time it gets pretty old pretty fast.

O and the missions were the same throughout the entire game. Here is the run down on how each mission went:

• Get the mission from your master
• Go to the town and find the assassin's bureau
• Climb a tower and observe the town
• Do 3 short miny side missions (Pickpocket, eavesdropping, or assinate targets)
• Go back to the bureau
• Assassinate your target
• Rinse and Repeat

There you go that is the whole game. HonestlyI hope Assassins Creed 2 isn't that repetitive and changes up the gameplay immensely.

Well sorry for that little rant there, but I had to get that out of my system :P. I know that this game is over a year old now and that no1 cares, but like I said I had to get it out of my system.

Anyways moving on.. E3 is now officially over and wow was it a great E3. Many great games announced.. so many that I will probably not be able to afford all of the ones I want. There is 1 game in particular though that looks insanely awesome and is going to be a must must get for me. O and it is on the DS :P.. and that game is Scribblenauts. Really it looks awesome. Anyways I tried to get give Half Life 2 another chance again today and just can't get into it. I am at that boat sceen right now and took down the "SPOILER" and got bored of it once again. I may just have to grind through the game to get to EP.1 and EP.2 because I heard they were awesome.

I also passed the 22,000 Gamerscore mark.. YAY?

Microsofts E3 conference is just 40 minutes away and I am pumped! Not only will it be a good watch, but it is also an easy emblem. I am going to tune into Sony and Nintendo tomorrow. Not sure if I am going to watch Ubisoft's and EA's conference though, but we'll see.

As for games I have been playing there are 2 main ones. First one is Bully: Scholarship Edition. Great game so far! The missions are entertaining, the classes are loads of fun, achievements are easy, and it is fun to just mess around. The only problem I have with it is that it is kind of glitchy. I definately recommend this if your looking for something to play. The other game I have been playing a lot is Halo Wars. Awesome game to play with friends, not so much by yourself. The online is loads of fun. The only issue I have with it is that online has lots of rushers.

I also can't wait for Battlefield 1943 and 1v100 to release. I love Battlefield and this one just looks awesome. As for 1v100 I think it looks interesting and am looking forward to trying it.

Well I finally got my xbox 360 back! Got it 1 day early which is always a good thing. Anyways I went out and rented Terminator: Salvation today and raised my GS past 20,000 woot! Here are my 1st impressions:

Terminator: Salvation is a pretty bad game. I wouldn't call it horrible, but it is pretty bad. For 1 it is extremely repetitive and also short (only 5 hours long). While the game has some easy achievements, beating the game on hard mode is probably one of the most annoying things I have ever attempted. The end of chapter 3 made me want to throw a controller at my TV. So I changed the difficulty to medium and it is almost to easy now. O well I guess. The AI is horrible too. Your teammates never seem to shoot more then 1 clip and then they'll just stop shooting and sit there doing nothing. So expect to do everything by yourself. On top of all that on hard mode you don't recharge health unless all the enemys are dead. So yea this is really what makes the game annoying, because you have no way to heal yourself. Most of the time you'll end up being a sitting duck because your AI teammates won't do anything and the enemys will stay in 1 spot and constantly shoot at you. Have I mentioned so far that this game is annoying? Also there are a lot of random cutscenes in this game that make no sense what so ever. Heck half of the cutscenes are unskippable so be prepared to watch the same cutscene over and over if you die. Also when you die your greated by a long loading screen (YAY!). Once again this game is annoying, but I will beat it just not on hard mode.

My final verdict so far is: Rent only if your a hardcore achievement hunter, don't bother with it if your not.

Well I pretty bored right now so I am just going to right a random blog so here it goes!

Well I am pretty excited for Infamous that is coming out on May 26th I believe. Either way I know it comes out sometime next week and I am pumped for it!Looks like it'll be the bestPs3 game to come out in09 (yes better than Killzone 2), unless God of War 3 comes out.. then I think it'll be the 2nd best.

Lego Rock Band sounds interesting and I am debating on whether or not I will buy it. I mean I am a huge Rock Band fan and the game will have The Final Countdown on it which alone may justify the purchase. I guess I won't make that desision until it is about to get released. As for the millions of Guitar Hero games coming out I don't think I am going to be picking up any of them. I was disappointed with World Tour and don't think I'll be picking up 5. I personally think Guitar Hero should leave the other instruments to Rock Band and just stick with the guitar only formula, but sadly that'll never happen.

Well aside from games being released I am still working on getting 100% in GTA IV. Once I get my 360 back which iscurrently being shipped to me, I will continuemy 100% goal.I got the boring stuff done with (Pigeons and stunt jumps) so far which is good. I guess I'll keep the only person who reads my blog updated (you know who you are :D) if they would like to know.
