i dont know about the man fans of the halo series but for me it all started with halo and the lan parties me and the mdk clan would have we would have 40 awesome guys come over and we would havce lan going on all night every weekend i swear there was no feeling like it when your hanging out getting drunk and having the best fun with you friends. and halo 2 just made that more interesting when it went online our mdk clan started fresh with players that we new in our home town which made it even more exciting to get back home from work or school and know that we were going to waste the evening away playing that game to our hearts content. in my world you earned respect by how well you did online and boy did i take the cake. so now ive moved into my own home and for the last 4 months i have not  played the game because im cable has been down since they upgraded to 8 meg. but the sad thing is, is the best times with halo 2 wasn't the game it was the friends that feeling that they know you and you own and that is a great feeling. you would get on not to prove anything to the random ppl you play against but to the poeple you played with. so here i am alone playing halo 2 and enjoying what was a great time in my life. but because of the hacking and moding and standbying the bandade that fixed the game to what is it now was not enough for the bulletwound that killed it. i hope we can get that feeling back with the next installment and hopefully xbox 360 will be that one.
