I have quit buying games when released. In fact, the last game I bought on release was Borderlands 2 and honestly have not bought a single game since. Why you ask? I will no longer support the pre-order, nickle and diming, and excessive DLC priced content in games. Utterly done with it. I will not support the direction the industry is headed with my wallet. It really has me fed up and frankly ruining my interest in gaming. There is no joy in buying a game when you really don't have the entire game yet and will have to pay more to get it. I will now wait until a Ultimate or GOTY edition of the game is released and buy it then, saving me 30-40 bucks or more. I would rather wait a year or more and save alot of money. It' is not like people HAVE to have the game right now. There is nothing wrong with waiting if it saves you money. I frankly prefer it. These people with this "have to have it now" mentality are the ones ruining gaming. All the people falling for the hype are no better. I honestly do NOT get excited about new games anymore because of all this day 1 and pre-order or Season Pass hogwash. I simply do not get excited anymore. That's probably something alot of you do not understand. Well, not everyone enjoy's throwing money around. It sends a message to developers when they don't see your money. I'd rather wait and enjoy everyone all at one for half the price. The gaming industry just has me fed up anymore and this is just how it has to be.

Gun's do nothing. They are inanimate objects. People CHOOSE their actions with them. People CHOOSE to commit crimes with them. They CHOOSE to ignore laws. Nothing is the cause of anything other than the person having obvious mental issues, or the rampant use of prescription drugs. Period. The action's of a select deranged few should NEVER dictate the lives and freedoms of the many. Giving up your freedoms because someone MIGHT do something bad is ridiculous. Fact : 24 people were killed in alcohol related car wrecks every single day in 2012. Over 4000 in total. Should we ban Car's now? Why not ban alcohol? I can guarantee you alcohol kills WAY more people than incidents like have happened the past few months, or guns in the hands of wacko's. Fact : On the same day as the Colorado Killings in China a man went crazy stabbing 20 children. Should we ban knives now? The knife got up off the counter and forced the man to stab children, didn't it? Fact : More than one-third of U.S. adults (35.7%) are obese. Obesity-related conditions include heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes and certain types of cancer, some of the leading causes of preventable death. Should we ban fast food and soda pop now? How about banning kitchen utensil's? Don't those contribute to the obesity and can even be used as weapons? Isn't it the food and forks fault they got fat? Fact : There are currently thousands of gun laws already. New laws will do nothing to stop people from being mentally ill. New laws will not stop killings and bad things from happening. The real fact is that your "elected" Government officials use these event's to push THEIR OWN agenda's by using the citizens fear. Freedom is always taken away using fear. Read your history. Why care? You, like most people, simply don't get the point. You don't see the larger picture. The reason people are upset is because this is just the beginning. It always is when things like this start. It will just expand into OTHER ways to rip you off. Things like this start up and they end up being the norm. Then some person in a meeting comes up with ANOTHER new BRIGHT idea about how to get even MORE money out of the consumer, and so on and so on. It's about the FUTURE of gaming, and BS like this is not something we want in our future. I'll just quit gaming. Period. It's already not much fun anymore because of all this crap. I miss the good days where there was ONE version of the game for EVERYONE. No pre-order exclusive. No mass DLC or Day 1 DLC, no Seasons Passes, no Online Pass, no Microstransations, no damned codes to enter when I JUST bought the game new and already have to unlock things. Just you, your console, and your game. END!!!

EA is like John Laurinaitis from WWE. He stands there in front of 10 thousand people booing him and hating him, but still thinks he has "People Power" and is the best GM in WWE history and is doing the right thing. EA doesn't really care about the gaming industry or giving people what they want, only milking consumers dry while they stand up on the hill of dollar bills. Frankly., I think we need some legislation against how far these corporations can go, because they don't seem to have any lines being drawn. It really needs to be stopped.

Every time I hear something more about this game it makes me cringe. It's just not anything like what I want out of Tomb Raider, or a video game. Quick Time events and blow this up, hang on that cliff, evade that thing falling, climb up something while it falls apart, cinematic event #97,etc, etc all while being stuck to a specific route is not what I want in my games. Not at ALL. It's why I hated Uncharted 3 so much. I want open world, FREEDOM. Not scripted events and button prompts. I am so SICK of quick time events I could vomit. I really dislike the direction games like this are headed.

New Gears game will be announced at E3. Frankly, it's FAR too soon. The developers will set around listening to the "hardcore fans"ranting and whining, in so doing they will ruin the game like they have done to Gears 3. It's become nothing but shotguns and immature elitist harassing you if you don't play how they play or use the gun they deem as acceptable. Read the Epic forums, all it is is people berating each other over what gun they use or how they kill online. Here is a tip : DON'T listen to the "fans". The "fans" are what ruined the blasted game. Even on here people start in on the guns. ALL guns are in the game so ALL guns can be used. I am sick of hearing about it and the constant moaning on every side. Yes, Gears 3 got ruined, for me, because of the "nothing but shotguns" game it has turned into. The constant berating of other players and harassment if you don't play as the "hardcore" see fit. It's not just "lil kids" who are moaning it is the "true fans" just as much. Shut up and play the game, use any weapon you want, play how you want. It's supposed to be FUN, not an ego boost. I am really not excited about this news because of all this. The elitist players will just ruin the game as they have the others.

Just announced. Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation for the freakin VITA? They FINALLY make a female assassin as the lead, something I have wanted for ages, but it is only on the freakin' worthless Vita? What idiot thought this idea up? People want things like this on the actual PS3, on the big screen with an actual controller, not some garbage handheld staring at a little screen. Seriously, this is a waste of time only being on some Vita/PSP crap. And, frankly, it spits in the face of many AC fans who have wanted a female lead....because they should be playing her on PS3/X360 properly. All the time spent making and designing this game for it to only be played on a tiny screen with cramped controls, not on a console in HD with good controller. It is just utterly wasted. I am pretty pissed off about this to be honest. I really wanted a female assassin lead, but they waste it like this.
