@Talavaj No, they remade a lot of the assets in 3D, re drew a lot of textures, made adjustments to controls, camera etc. There's a lot more into this than just a raised resolution.
@Xmus942 Let me put it simple to you, graphic engines, they evolve and get updated to accommodate more LOD in games within the hardware limitations. For example. you will never run Destiny on a PC with PS3 specs, yet it runs on PS3, it doesn't look as good as the PS4 but it still runs. The engines allow the devs to optimize to the ground and make consoles run games that you would think will never run off 256/512MB of RAM. That's what console devs call "pushing".
@TheBruuz The game wasn't what I was expecting in terms of scope, but it's still a fun game to play with friends. I'm 31, I play games since the NES and Sega Master system. My opinion of this generation of gamers so far is that they're overly whiny for the most part and love to talk about technical stuff they don't really understand in game development.
The lowest this game should get is a 7 in my opinion. Kevin is a good reviewer, but he went overboard here by a point. He's also paying too much attention to the criticism he's getting for the review. He also keeps passively bashing the game on tweeter, this is the longest attention he has given to a review made by him after the fact; therefore I see his actions a little hateful and intentional. That's how I see it and that's my opinion, I'm not a fanboy of anything, I'm talking about what I'm seeing for the last few days since the review.
