Full Conversion

Well, finally deicded to dedicate myself as a full PC gamer. I did have to part with my Wii via trade-in, but well worth it since I got SC II, Civ V, and New Vegas for all the Wii stuff I put in.

End of an Era

Well, two months ago my roommate had to sell off his 360 amid financial issues. This effectively killed 10+ years of using friends/roommates' game systems. This also prompted me to sell any games I had for the system and switch over to being a PC gamer. Granted I still have a Wii, but let's be honest, there are no games out of it.

Forsaken?...

Well, I can't complain too much, but what is up with Nintendo not releasing anything mildly decent anymore? I mean, sure there are the true, time-tested games like Zelda, Pokemon, Mario, etc., but whatever happened to the obscure games that made Nintendo popular in the first place? At first, I may seem to be asking too much. That maybe just the case, but I know many other people that are just as disappointed in Nintendo as I am. Nowindays when I go into a GameStop and see what kind of Wii games are out, I can't help but cringe. The same goes for the DS because Nintendo hasn't gotten many developers that can utilize the touch screen.

It's Gonna be a Hell of a New Year

After 2007, I look at the games I own and will be owning and I look at the games my roommate owns and will be owning and I say to myself 'Holy crap, I'm going to waste my life away on all these video games.' Now, usually I don't see this as a bad thing, but when you consider that I go to college, then I have a whole new level of time management to develop. He owns Assassin's Creed, Rock Band, Call of Duty 4, and NCAA '08 which is enough to last the whole 2008 year. I own Mario Galaxy, RE 4, Wii Sports, Wind Waker, and SSBM which is good enough until Brawls release.

With last year's platter not finished and with all the upcoming games for this year, I'm going to have to figure out how to get as much gaming in as posible...

Maybe I can clone myself...

New Games Each Month

This second half of the year is going to be exciting. Of course Halo 3 is coming out this Tuesday (Luckily my roommate has a 360).

November- Phantom Hourglass
October- FFXII: Revenant Wings
December- SSBB (Super Smash Bros Brawl)

It's going to be nice to have a new game for each month. That just means that I won't have to play one single game to death.

New Year, New Games

Man, it's about time 2007 came around. There are so many DS games I'm looking forward to this year (or at least will probably come out this year):

1. LoZ: Phantom Hourglass
2. FF Cyrstal Chronicles
3. FFXII: Reverant Wings
4. Dragon Quest

Of course, there'll be more desirable games this year, but so far these are the ones I'm looking for to most. Now that I think about it, the DS will become the only thing I need to entertain myself.

Where are all the good games?

I've noticed something: There aren't any good games coming out for some of the current gen systems. I mean sure, I know companies are concentrating on the next gen stuff, but still, there are plently of people like me who A. can't afford a new system and B. still like playing on the old systems (yeah, that's right. NES all the way) Oh well.

Yay! More Games!

WOOT!!! I finally get the games I always wanted. I get Rome: Total War and Half-Life 2. Sure, these games have been out for a while, but then again, I'm poor. As the saying goes "Better late than never."

Decisions Decisions

ARGGGGG!!!! Why is it when all the games I like are out there and I only have enough money to get one of them!! *sigh* Right now I'm trying to decide whether I buy Civilizations IV (PC)  now or wait a while and get FF IV (GBA). Of course, I have a EB Gamer's Card, but only enough to buy one or the other. *sigh*
